So I , { like many before}.... had a accident yesterday....
took entire tray of 4 diffrent strains into clones.... 12 + of each....
cut dipped, and set....labeled and misted....
the WHOLE shebang....well as fate would have it....
cablam0..... the whole tray cracked, collapssed and fell to the ground
covering a light fixture... 2 other mother plants...and several seedlings...
So after ..... A WHOLE LOT of bitching, and screams .....
I prepared too clean up the mess.....

BUT.. alas that is the question...????

DO U keep the clones and sort thru them...
based on observation and what U "think " U remembered
from there initial placement....

or do U, keep what still might look good and or make it....rolling the dice on "which it could be"....

or do U loose the whole the mess, and call it "the facts of life"....

my self I'm perplexed over what too do....

Unfortunately this happens to the best of us! Having mislabeled and actually lost some strains for this very reason... I have taken the time to mark them A,B,C,D, etc. Then re-clone them each and then appropriately label them once they gone into flower again once you determine which is what... seems like extra work but it'll cover your mistake. I have learned to never guess on it! Good luck man!

If you arent selling them or giving a specific variety to someone I have a hard time seeing a issue with it. If you know the plants fairly well it should be easy to segregate and relabel the different types once they reached a bigger size.

if you're selling to dispensaries and wanna keep it honest then it's 'pot luck' week. I'm just gonna assume you weren't cloning shitty plants, some good could come of those survivors.......

assuming you've grown them before, they should be fairly easy to identify once they veg a little bit, certainly they will be once in flower. This has happened to me before and i ended up figuring out which was which soon after they rooted, but I don't sell my product and I've grown the strains before so I knew what to look for. I put question marks by there name while flowering and every guess ended up being correct once harvested. If you planned on cloning them then dropping them off to a dispensory, then thats different. Unless you 100% sure of whats what, I wouldn't bring the clones labeled to market. Just my 2 cents. Its frustrating, but it happens.

PS: the worst is when you label every drying branch and then mix the OGs together during the trimming process. this last batch of Ghost and 818 OG got mixed and I pretty much cannot tell them apart aside from what did get jarred correctly of the two. the stuff that got mixed, forget it...I have no clue which is which, so its in a jar that just says OG.
Cheers,
BT
