Got caught with <4grams and a pipe in Oklahoma once. Six months nonreport probation and about $1200 best I can remember. The cop acted like I had meth or something. I mean he was a total jerk. Funy story tho....a few years later he started dating a chick I knew and long story short I caught his ass drunk at a party in someone's barn way out in the country a few years later (I only lived about 10 miles from the tx/ok border). I called him out in front of everyone (people were smoking pot there) and made the punk ass pussy leave before I opend a can of whop ass on him. I told him not to ever let me catch him on the wrong side of the river again. The moral of the story is sometimes pay back from way back can be so sweet

...but yea Oklahoma is one backwards ass place!

Eating crow isnt to bad when you get to serve the leftovers back.
yeah ditto spent 4yrs near a small town called eric, backwards ass is a understatment.

Well I'm a little late for my usual sunday update, but for good reason I hope nobody here is offended by hunting, but if you are bite me....I don't care! PETA stands for People Eating Tasty Animals Here's some pics of a bull I took down over the weekend. Packed that bruiser out 1/2 mile uphill on my back with zero help from anyone. First time I went solo all the way...what an accomplishment! To say I'm proud right now is an understatment. It's also an understatment to say I'm tired and sore

Here he is. Hard to tell from these pics but he's 7x6....

Nice Shot Tex! Tell me you used a bow. I seen your binoc's hanging on the tree but didnt see a rifle in your hands so Im asuming your a bow hunter thats a crack shot. That was perfect placement.

I was on the ground. I rolled around in a bull scrape that morning so I guess my scent was covered pretty well. He ran toward me after I shot which tells me he had no idea where I was.

I went back up yesterday to try and fill my cow tag, but awoke to 6" of snow and alot worse weather on the way. I hated to throw in the towel on my cow hunt but that's better than being snowed in 7 miles up in the mountains. I had to put chains on just to get out. Oh well that's how it goes sometimes.

Here's a pic I took right before I left. Snow was coming down hard on the way out.

Here's a pic looking back once I got down. I heard it got 18" overnight not far from where I was.

Alone here's another shot of that rifle which gives a little better perspective of those antlers. I didn't put a tape measure on them but he's real close, if not 36" wide. I know the rifle is 43" (42"+recoil pad).

Okay enough with the hunting that's not what this thread is about. I just thought a bull that big was worth showing off

AMAZING plants! Looks like you didn't have any trouble going from giant trees outdoors to indoors. Very impressive.
Looks like you put that bullet right in the heart. I'm not a hunter, though I was when I was young, but looks like a great shot, and great bull. I used to have a helper up in the PNW that would always be missing from work when elk season started. But I knew he'd be bringing some good elk sausage to work for a while haha.

I'll share my Oklahoma bust story with you someday. Fucking cops!
