Was wondering what other growers experiences were with Advanced Nutrient Flowering Additives.

Bud Factor X
Bud Candy
Big Bud
Bud Ignitor
Overdrive

Bud Factor X is just magnessium. Used all weeks except flush

Bud Ignitor is for weeks 1 and 2 of flower and replaces Bud Blood.

Bud Candy is said to change taste to cotton candy like and is doubled up with Carboload as well. To be used all weeks except flush.

Read and heard nothing but good things about big bud. Powder or liquid?

Just like big bud, overdrive has gotten stellar reviews that I have read and received in person.

Still curious if anyone uses any of these and what your experiences are with them.

I was warned to stay away from bud candy, and I'm also curious about molasses being used in flower. When and for what exactly.

I hope this gets a good discussion going for all to learn from!

Big Bud and Overdrive do the work for me great combo IMHO...I used to use Bud XL and Shooting Powder but just dont like the ugly look of the buds after the powder.

Bud Factor X is alot more than just magnessium its scorpion juice and colossal bud blast in one so i suggest you research those 2 products. ive never used it though. also one of the best growers on this site GanjaRebelSeeds uses bud candy and he says it makes the trichs bigger. there was also a side by side here a while ago the plants with the bud candy had more crystals with an increased yield. damn i wish i could find that thread again

Hello mate, I've been using Advanced Nutrients for years with great results.. They do piss me off though cos they are forever fuckin' about and changing the formula and dilution of their products!

I use Big Bud, which works and it's important that you then use Overdrive later on in flower for best results!

Bud Candy is great for commercial product, I use it in hydro and it increases yield, lowers flower time by a couple days and adds a sweetness to most strains. I do not use it for my personal stash, adding molasses in soil grown herb has similar results..
I wish they had just left Carbo Load alone ( it forms part of Bud Candy, along with Sweet ) as I liked using that on it's own!

My hydro regime: Canna A and B, Big Bud, Overdrive, a PK product, a silicone product and Bud Candy.. Gives Great results!

I want to hear what they have to say to upsell their bud candy and if they want me to buy big bud powder or liquid.

They still have carboload its like 15$ for a liter at my local shop.

i use the base 3 part with b-52, big bud, and overdrive. It has been working out great. I try to keep it simple and not buy into their marketing.

it's not. Most likely chitosan or willow bark extract solution and a wetting agent... (what Scorpion Juice used to be)

please explain why bud ignitor is a waste? i just used it the first 2 weeks of flower and im seeing signs of flowering 3-5 days sooner and it cuts alot of the stretch down so it definitely helps with stretchy strains

and while your at it please explain why bud factor x is a waste

Dorky I appreciate your input but don't make vague statements, back it up.

I will be using all of those additives, already have them.

Going to get and use the bud candy but only on a few plants to see if I like it and if it does change the taste a lot.

My faves are Bud Candy and Big Bud. And when I say favorites, I mean they're in my grow EVERY TIME.

Glad more AN users are getting together. I purchased both and will do a side by side for just the bud candy. Bit pricey additives but the big bud is recommended by everyone.

I've spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure out what a lot of their additives are as i came into a couple free bottles of AN's products. I used A/B grow in veg, Bloom a/b with big bud, and BFX. I used overdrive as well in the last two weeks before flush. I foliar additional doses in between reservoir changes. I can't really say i've ever compared it to much else, but i have never been dissatisfied with my results.

I do also use their NoShock, probably my favorite product from them. Sorry to come off sounding like an AN fanboy, but i've never had any complaints. Still relatively new to this but i think I'll stick with them for a while til I can get some outdoor space.

LOL. This is another AN thread that some one decides to stray from the subject and talk about marketing, prices or something useless for me to learn.

I would appreciate some feed back from experience.

I understand your good intentions, but I didn't purchase anything of AN's because of the marketing. Infact I never read a single ad of theirs if you want to hear the truth.

Its a really long story but I'm extremely happy with the choice and the plants are as well, and that's what matters.

We could discuss the bullshit AN feeds us and all the downfalls with their products, but that won't do me any good, get any one any where and eventually will only result in a big waste of time.

Hoping some one with experience behind these products has some feed back to provide, good or bad. Shit I will definitely holler for a brother or sister if something isn't right and they shouldn't use something, but I would be twice as eager to holler if something is working well.

Right now the only thing I can say I am upset about purchasing are H2o2, GH Ph Up and Down(fucks with ppms way to much) and clonex. Those products don't work for me as well as others or at all. But this isn't about those, its about all those AN Additives for flowering that I would like to learn more about.

Lol the marketing is all the bottles dude. Youd do much better only using like half or less of the free sample of moab.
You dont need more than $15 worth of bloom boosters to grow that size crop for the next decade... I doubt you would ever finish a bag of kb

Unfortunately MOAB would require a lot of extra work. Ph Perfect only for me.

Less is more, I get it. And guess what else, I totally agree with EVERYONE about AN's bullshit.

But guess what, I already have the nutes and they work great, so I'm using them.

I never said I am an AN fan for life, that I'm hardcore about their products and can only use them, and I haven't mentioned once buying their products for a second time. Not once.

I should stop trying to collaborate with others using the same Nutes and just show ya'll what they accomplish in my diary.
