Kali Mist x Skunk#1

I was fortunate enough to be givin some Kali x skunk1 beans and wondered if anyone has tryed them before.
Ive searched and cant find anything on them,I have enough to breed with and would love to hear any comments,advice anyone has.
They were gifted to me and im hoping to find something special.

Sorry about that,should be sorted now.

I dont have that much space and only popped 4,they all sprouted with vigour and seem quite uniform at this stage.

They didnt recieve much of a veg as im testing the water so to speak with a few.

I will be germinating alot more once ive the space,im waiting on plants which were popped before, I recieved these.

The Kali Mist is serious,ive two pheno's and they are quite interesting as one is short and the other much more of a hazy structure.

I plan on another grow with just the pure,these are also for making seed and im soooo excited to work with it,cant wait to pick out the different triats I hope to get.

As this is my 1st serious attempt at making seeds and appreciate any comments or advice.

nice cross mate , tbh some of the best herb ive had has come from bean either i or a friend has made has out done many a breeders strain

Not my cross,these were made by a very reputable breeder,I have faith in finding it special+.

Itll be interesting to see the finished product as the Kali mum should be dom but with the pure,who knows.
For those who dont know,from all the differant offerings over the years of Kali,the same Kali mum was used so
this will be a true representation.

This cross is really interesting as she seems indica dominant,flowering time should be around ten weeks I think,possibly eight.
They smell and look awesome,I feel really priviliged to be one of the first to grow out this cross,ive always been a fan of the Kali and the Skunk1.


Cant wait to taste the bud,im pretty confident in finding someting nice to share.
With a little help from my friends I hope to make seed of this cross available,as well as using her in other projects.

Here we are first week into flower, broad leaves and lovely smell.
Ive cloned the one male,hollow stem'd,spicy smelling,im going to collect the pollin from all males.Label and store for future use.

There are three females and alough ive pic's in my album,ill add more of just the Kali x Skunk1 when I get the time.

Ive alot more of these seeds and will run them after Christmas.
The three females will give me an idea of flowering times,effect,etc.

I plan on crossing this strain,but will have to wait untill they flower to decide what to use with it.

Its great to be growing these and I cant wait to see how she does and as said before I hope to find something special and work with it.

The tall one is the male.

Thanks guy,sure looks like it.
They got neglected in a sense because they were squeezed together in a corner,in very small pots.
I coulnt pot them on untill id freed up some space,now they have it they are filling it nicely.
I still have a male in clone,ill take more pics asap.
They are in soilmix under a 400w,id love to put a 600w in there but am worried about head space for them.

Got one plant budding,


Looking good.
She is three weeks into flower and potbound
when I potted her on so im glad she is carring on
flowering without much stress.

I have a couple of bigger plants also.
The top ones are the same age,the budding one
was in the smallest pot.
They are getting so big,one would fill this tent easy.

Thanks Black Elf,one seems to have more of a pine smell,rubbing the stems makes one of the nicest fruity smells ive had at this stage.
There's a good dank smell of the buds.

There was a pure Kali in there so ill know better next post.

Time to improve the airflow in there,im gonna replace the 4" extractor fan to a 6" then a couple of small fans in opposing corners.
If I can ill change the 4 to a 600w,got one sitting.

Gonna remove the filter to the outside and blow air into it,does anyone think this will be less efficient at pulling the odour?

Monsters they are indeed,the three are have more room now,lots of bud sites from top to bottom.

These would do really well in a vert setup.I may try vert next.

As she was potpound she bolted,ive takin clones as back up.
She is a lil smaller than the others after bolting,seems she will be finished first too.
Ill get pics up asap.
