600w 4x4 tent Sam the Skunkman, Romulan vertical grow

Thanks Mitsu,

Goldy, the Honeywell fan is very quiet, I use the low setting and can place the lights really close with it blowing up towards the light... My wife commandeered the first one I bought for our bedroom!

Well, looks like I may have another male... Shorty is starting to show balls I think, I'm gonna let it go awhile longer to make sure.... I was really hoping that shorty, stocky indica would be a female...

Romulan 1 is starting to bud nicely and is almost to my shoulder now, thinking the stretch may be over now...

The other four plants still aren't showing sex yet, so hopefully I still end up with 4-5 females...

hi ya couple of questions ,looking good so far, with your light how far away from the plants do you keep it?,does the fan underneath the light slightly move it ? and finally do you think a small home made shade over the light would stop the light going upwards to waste ?also that romulun looks like it just gonna keep going up and up!

Since I have the light vertical, the majority of the light comes from the sides...

I keep the bottom of the bulb between 1-3 inches from the top of the plant... I'll be lowering it down in between the plants once I think the Romulan has stopped stretching.

I would not use a reflector on top because the walls, floor and ceiling all have reflective material on them...

The fan keeps the air pushed up and moves the leaves of the plants a little but it doesn't move the light around...

thanks for answering my questions i saw it was a vertical light was thinking of putting one 600 in the middle of 4 plants and rotate the plants around the outside but will see how that works out later.the reason i said about a small home made reflector sort of like a mushroom around the top of the light was i was thinking it may be better to try to kick any light reflected up and back down straight out of the side less distance to travel to the plants ,but what ya doing looks great.very happy shorty is a girl .massive leaves.respect

You should check out the vertical section on the forum...it pretty much will show you what works and is tried and trued... no reflector = lower temperatures

I'm glad Shorty is a girl too!

The grow is coming along nice. The Romulan is looking good at 21 days! Great old school strain.

Yeah, its really been a good plant... the reason it has two tops if because I broke it off in a watering incident... I topped it and it grew ever faster! It outgrew the male Romulan...

With that said, I don't know if it really was Romulan but thats what we were told it was and it was great smoke so I was really surprised that it had the two seeds in it...

A couple weeks later, we found another seed from a bag of Orange Crush from the same guy... It was probably from his room getting too hot and getting a herm or something... We live in a very hot area...

Yes, my Honeywell is 110v... Here is a crappy pic of the ducks, they are the only plants that haven't started to bud yet...

I think my clones got too hot under the done in my cloner, I lost all but two clones, a Romulan which I hope makes it and Sam 4 which is still strong... I also have a Shorty clone which I transplanted into a ppk the other day...

Oh well, live and learn...

I started a Casey Jones and a Super Sour OG today...

Wow, 14 weeks! How do you know if a plant is gonna go that long? Most of mine are at 4 or 5 weeks and have some good bud development... I'm thinking these will go 8 or 9 weeks...
