Fucking lol!

Matey tried to fire up his wood burner last night an found a big draft coming down it. The house is so well sealed up that with the extract running the only way in for the air was down the bloody stove pipe through the burner!

So, I've just been over and put four 6" holes through the ceiling of the outer part of the room (ie, where the grow isn't) up into the loft. I stuck a 12" length of plastic sewer pipe into each one.

Venting into a loft can be dangerous.... not sure if it was a Viet grow with 50 odd lamps and associated output, but I am certain people have managed to mold everything and also rot all the beams in the roof with the extra humidity that builds up in there. Collapsing roof may be the earliest sign, if your ceilings do not collapse first. Builders/Roofers do not build roof spaces to take much dampness inside, the slates usually keep it outside

girls are there! went 12/12 a coupla days ago. i'll get matey to send a pic tonight.

there was a wonderful moment when the girls were in, the timer set and i told him "you're now a maryjane grower".

thats a good heads up CC. i think i mentioned earlier that when I first did this stuff my extract was into a spare room i never used. after a while I went in there and found everything covered in grey mold!

maybe i haven't explained it properly but they intake is from the loft extract goes outside. Intake isn't direct from the loft, it's to the area outside the growroom which acts as a kinda lungs room, i think it's called. the extract fan then draws air from there through the pipes into where the girls are.

yea soz about the pictures. I dunno if it's me, the camera or the forum.

When I get some time I'll work out how to do decent pics on here. Who'd have thought photographic skill would matter to a weed grower?
