Dr John, the Night Tripper, Mac Rebennack all one in the same. when I got into jazz back in '79 I was able to stumble onto some of his old stuff in obscure used record shops, now I can get all I want on CD and nearly any title. if you grew up in the 50s/60s and your folks were groovy then you might have heard some of this music, I however grew up listening to Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Perry Como and so on.
