2012 Mixed Strain Grow

hi there everyone here is a pic of my 2012 mixed strain grow,i am
using a dr100 & a sunlight systems blazer air cooled shade with a
400watt metal hailide for veg & 600watt for flower & bio bizz light mix bio grow bio bloom...this new shade i have just bought i was told too keep it 100cms from the seedlings...would i not be better putting a 250watt cfl above the seedlings ? here is the strains i have started

3 x old time indiana bubblegum
3 x holy grail kush
3 x motavation
2 x Ak47
1 x ice cream & 1 failed to produce a set of true leafs

any adivise would be exellent later goodtobehere

good selection ,

biobizz light mix is best , keep them clean from any nutrition's first month the soil will do the job

CFL is good even i can say same as the current lamp but less energy consuming and less problematic with less heat issues

Nice looking tent setup you've got going. I also have a DR100 tent and run either the 400 or 600 watt lights. As for your light you can get it closer than that. If you're air-cooling you can get up close and personal. Since the plants are young I'd keep your light 1.5-2 feet away. As they get larger move that light closer, but be sure to have air moving between the light and the tops of the plants. I'll be watching with interest.

thanks lads i am deciding if i should buy some air pots to try but i heard there hard to water ? and i a new to this so i dont no yet!! cheers goodtobehere

alright folks here is an update of my grow not much to see yet as growth is slow all 13 seeds
germed but 1 ice cream seed never grew true leafs so it was binned so far i got 12 seeds growing and i am hoping for 6 females...they are in 5ins pots its all i had and there in light mix
and watered with plain water at ph6.5 here is a pic and thanks for looking....goodtobehere

Very nice setup you got going there. Wish I could grow some mixed strains and had lights dedicated just to veg. Good luck with your grow, I'm subbed.

hi liza thanks i thought a mixed strain would be good so i have different smoke every day when i crop...av been smoking cheese a lot & a getting bored...plus street weed where i live is garbage...lol

I always grow mixed strains, nothing worse than getting used to the same old smoke all the time. And I always mix strains to get a multi effect, it's not bad if you are growing multiple things. Your tent is looking really sweet GTBH, keep us updated!

nice setup bro, i use a household cfl (11w) for the first few days and then stick em under the 600w

alright folks i checked the seedlings and the DNA seeds are stinking already lol happy days here is a cpl of pics
they are under 250watt cfl at the moment 5ins pots bio bizz light mix ph6.6 hope you like em

minute moved em back under the 400watt metal hailide in a air cooled shade which is 50cms away from seedlings any advise is
welcome is shade to far away? and should i pot up when roots
are out bottom of pots? i was going to pot up to 6.5ltr but i was thinking maybe 11ltr would be better thanx for looking Peace Gtbh

coming along nicely mate, 50cm sounds about right and you can repot once the roots come out the bottom

you not setting the waterfarm up yet then?
