So happy the solar lights are working great too, now just need to wait and keep this warm weather up for optimal growth before flip

Night temps seem pretty high for this time of year. I'm sure the carport plants will be pretty large in a couple weeks.

:tiphat:

The propane hotdog heaters are great for heating large areas. When I've just needed to keep the temps up a few degrees though, a couple buckets of warm water before dark followed by a 1500 watt heater from midnight till 4 always kept things going if it was sealed to a decent degree.

I've also noticed that keeping temps up at the beginning of flower is much more important than the end. That is pretty obvious though, but I think worth noting.

GCG - you guys are really seeing 40's already? Think the lowest I've seen is 58, maybe 57. I'm loving the idea of the hotdog heater, gonna look into that. That bucket trick may come in handy as well. Dreaming of your teas, we'll get some going soon. And thanks for the support today.

Jbar - ya those bumbles are pretty intense. They love cruising within a foot of your face too. The gifts are definitely pretty solid. Still looking for those 2 liter kolas though. About 1.5 right now. This warmth is disturbing. October 1st is forecasted at 100. And I was lead to believe September was 80's lol...

Hey folks, about that time for an update. My slow lengthy harvest has officially begun. I'm on dry day 5 of the first I chopped, and am going to stagger everything out for the next several weeks.

New guard dog Rome. Should be 150+ when he's full grown. A little bit better at guarding than the bulldog

Carport progressing nicely. Trimmed up, and caged now, despite not being so in these pics

I noticed this lovely track coming from underneath my gate yesterday morning. My first reaction was that it was a dirtbike track, then realized that it went straight under the gate. It's hard to fathom, but I can't see it being anything but a snake. You can see there was a fresh rain, so it's not like it's another animal dragging something, not a ball rolling or anything like that. Definitely a snake. The neighbor even pointed out a head mark a few hundred feet down the drive. You can see that the track is wider than the jar. The two 5-6 feet rattlesnakes I've encountered have produced tiny little trails, very similar size to a garden hose. I'm thinking possibly a snake had a large meal, and for some reason decided to cruise hundreds of feet, rather than hang out and digest its meal for days. Doubtful. Or jbar mentioned in Florida people let their pet phythons and boas go when they get too big. Maybe someone let loose a 15-20 footer? Nothing else makes sense to me....Thoughts anyone? Happy harvestinggggg

Wow Hoss, i'm speechless about the track, seriously. You can even see that the ground, is freshly rained on and undisturbed, with that track being fresh. Wow, that's a beast of something! Next stop.....Wildlife Cam's on site...

Love the update hoss, things are rockin!! Photo skills are killer too!

Jbar, ya I wasn't kidding man. Straight anaconda status. And of course I saw my 3rd fresh track this morning going once again directly under the gate. That's 3 of the last 4 nights. This guy is a new arrival, and definitely making his presence without much fear at all. Awesome. I'll see further evidence shortly folks, stay tuned. Until then, a few pics of the caged carport. Turning the lights off tomorrow. Good luck everyone !

Mmmmm easy accesssss

Was all transplanted on September 3rd. Veg went a solid 2-3 weeks quicker than I expected :thank you:

Thanks for stopping by Sutra, all is well so far! Security is at an all time high this time of year. Was in a local grow shop recently, word was " lots of nervous people around this time of year." Hope all is well with others.....

Hello once again everyone. Out from the woodwork. The last month has been busy busy busy as I'm sure everyone's has. Our harvest is almost fully out the door, thankfully. Wasn't very happy with the numbers, but barely care because of all the ridiculous factors of taking over someone elses grow mid season, so am super happy to just be almost finished with the whole mess. The carport is holding up. Has taken a beating these last several storms, including about 2 inches of snow.

Have 2 of these Mr. Heater portable buddies for now. Pumps out 4-9k BTU for 50-100 hours on a 20lb. tank a piece. Good short term solution until we can get a more permanent heating system. Two more of these should comfortably get us through the winter, knock on wood.

Carport enclosed. Can no longer walk down the middle obviously.

Am starting to see some early purpling of the Dream.

O Geeeezee. The smallest plant is now the biggest. Go figure.

Till next time...hope everyone had a successful season.

Wow, cool thread! For someone who grows outdoors in the uk, where stealth is paramount, the idea of that carport is wild. Don't think I'd be getting much sleep with bears and lions roaming about either:peek:
Plants look sweet anyway! Best of luck with your venture.

Hoss, impressive update to say the least! I love the pic you took without the side of the port up so we could see all plants down the length of it! The development of the flowers, although they are seeing 40 degree nights and 60 degree days is phenomenal! Wow, the difference between the OG and the dream is significant. So stoked brother! Happy thanksgiving to everybody!

Thanks for stopping by Dipper ! Thankfully, based on our location, the stealth factor isn't something we'll have to worry about too much. An with the bears an lions, I've just come to accept that I need to respect the fact that I'm in their territory, and not do anything stupid. And always be prepared. Walking up the side of the hill in the middle of the night with just a headlamp to check on the heaters was pretty terrifying at first, to say the least. But you get used to it. Can't focus on all the noises you hear or you'd drive yourself crazy.

GCG, thanks buddy, it's looking right in that window. An extra set of hands could never hurt. But god damn, give yourself a break haha. You guys are machines over there. Keep up the good work !
