Met some nice canadian girls from Tofino last night and they were raving aboot a strain called ROCKSTAR and its sister rockstar1 (or was it rockstar 2).

Seriously strong stuff, and comes in a tuna can. The best thing is these girls claim they dont even have to pay for it.

A little bit of research and its either a selection of reefs harmony, a sensi star x rock bud hybrid or rockstar kush from the medman who is on this site.

So whats the real rockstar? These girls claimed it reduced grown men to slobbering messes with pin joints. If so , i am trully impressed and i want it.

reefermans harmony has a cut called rockstar , probably in B.C . He also had a strain he called tuna that he said used to come in tuna cans . The two strains are unrelated .The canadian girls probably mixed it up.

i was interested in a strain called rockstar from bonguru seeds....here is a bit about it

From Ed Rosenthal's Big Book of Buds:

The "Star" in RockStar is the multi-award-winning Sensi Star, a potent indica with a slighlty cerebral, sativa-influenced stone. This Star's "Rock" is not music-related, but rather the Soma A+ mother, which is often called "Rockbud" for its super-dense buds that offer no footholds for molds and pests. "Rockbud's" compact growth genes reign in Sensi's sativa-like branching, making RockStar easier to manicure than its papa plant. This RockStar combo is a good strain for beginners and delivers buds with a rhythm that any indica fan will gladly groove to.

Designed as an indoor variety, RockStar also works well in a sunny outdoor environment that allows 9 weeks of flowering before frost sets in. Growers in California have reported up to a one-pound yield from 6-foot (2-meter) tall plants. RockStar grows well indoors in a SOG set-up whether in hydro or in soil but given the space, it will produce well as a multi-branch plant. This strain shows her hardcore indica roots with typically fat leaves and chunky nugs. The glisten of trichomes is suitable for finger hash. Her pungent spicy fruit bouquet, a bit like a very ripe cinnamon pear, does not overpower the room during flowering. By harvest this visually striking plant is draped in crystal snow.

A full-bodied smoke in terms of taste and texture, RockStar's buzz avoids the usual indica heaviness. Users will not feel weighed down by this stone, just more limber and easygoing. RockStar's effects can help medicinal smokers who need a non-narcotic muscle relaxant. When you want to party like a RockStar, this variety loosens the mood without too much space-out factor.

I asked them that as i had heard of the tuna before (way way back i believe from og or cw days).

If my memory serves me right the tuna was a commercial strain that was held very tight. I may have mixed things up totally but tuna or the tuna always had appeal to me due to the fact that it came in a tuna can and thats why i seem to remember this bit of info.

Tuna is a Lemon Hashplant. Rockstar cut in BC is Reef's Harmoney. It is one of the most widely sold cuts in the BC lower mainland. Peace GS
