I dont expect to be seeing much of this place for a while. 120 mile round trips are over! Jobs done and matey will sort his own meds out from now on.
It's inspired me to update my own rooms. They're looking like Steptoes yard atm and that soundproofing foam could do me a great job here.

hiya,,, looking good harry,,, i would be mindful of the gaps in those 2 outside doors,,could be a potential light leak down the sides of the doors,looks like you sorted the top of the doors so no worrys there,,,nice position high up on the wall for those ballasts,, nice work harry,,,good luck,,,peace s2
thnx s2 I forgot to mention that theres a strip of b&w sheeting a coupla inches wide down the door edge. Negative pressure from the extract keeps it firmly in place.

Matey tried to fire up his wood burner last night an found a big draft coming down it. The house is so well sealed up that with the extract running the only way in for the air was down the bloody stove pipe through the burner!
So, I've just been over and put four 6" holes through the ceiling of the outer part of the room (ie, where the grow isn't) up into the loft. I stuck a 12" length of plastic sewer pipe into each one.
Seems to have done the trick for now but when (if?) it warms up next year We'll have come up with something else.

Here's a couple of pics of the passive intakes into the growroom from the area outside (with the new 6" holes in the ceiling). They're made up from plastic down pipe/rain ware. Four in total, two each side of the doors. Two have a length of pipe carrying fresh air to the edge of the tray, two just allow air through into the growroom.
