What's new

a wicked pulse

You may have said already and I've lost it but are you still plan on using the front screen to tie to?

Too many cockroaches are hard on your kidneys.

no, of the 3 dimensions, x,y, and z, i ended up with over twice the z. i did everything too little, too late. started behind and got further behind as i went.

i was totally surprised by the growth rate with co2.

in one of the photos you can see a piece of wood sticking out from the top of the frame.

that's a 2' 2x2 bracketed to the frame with shelf brackets. i've got four on each side. i'll tie some romex wire to some eyebolts or something to give me something to tie branch ends to. i'm combing the branches straight out and allowing them to fall on their own until they get real heavy.

it seems cockroaches are worse for more than just your kidneys.

Very very impressive d9. I can't wait to see them mature. It looks like a long wall of weed 2-3 feet think of limbs stacking buds on top of buds...again very impressive. Anyone looking for a new system or just more free time would be making a big mistake in overlooking your techniques.

On another note I'm almost halfway thru the original ppk thread. It's been chock full of useful understandable info that will help any grower. I'm not sure why it isn't stickied. There's few distractions just good solid info page after page. It may take me another week or more to finish it but instead of feeling like I'm having to grind thru it I instead look forward to resuming it every day. Congrats on one of the best if not the best thread on icmag!

Looks sick.
Quick question. If you could run all 12 lights at the same time would you?
Also what do you think would work best. The 6 more lights or the added co2?

looks fucking perfect. fucking bastard.

looks can be deceiving! it is far, far from perfect! in fact, i'm personally quite dissatisfied with the grow. i can do a lot better.

i got stuck in space/time without the continuum. a lot of work to get this into the shape you see here.

so that part of the experiment i can declare a failure unless you don't mind spending 2-3 hours a night training plants.

the light array is a success. there is a lot more to learn about changing light angles and timing.

you got the fucking part right!

Holy f*ck

I want a room just as long, so's I can perform half as well.

:respect:

thanks, but this is a screw up! it looks cool but it is a huge waste of resources.

i have filled about 5 42 gal contractor bags with vegetation up to this point. all the energy involved could have grown a lot more usable weight.

WOW!
Are any of them touching the ceiling?

"And coming soon to a forum near you, a ppk grow by Disciple, ?"
:woohoo:

all except the four runts. i've been bending the tops over towards the lights. with the reflectix they seem to be getting adequate light as i've got some decent buds forming there.

i see the question mark, Brother HighLife, but i'll let Brother Disciple tell the congregation when he's ready.

hallelujah! The "Church of What's Happening Now, Mofo's!" is now in session! Can i hear an Amen?

thanks, but again, i don't want anybody to think that i think that this is an efficient way to grow.

the way to do it right would be more like ichabod's screens, keeping the bud layer as flat as possible.

but no matter how you do it, tying plants to screens does not scale up well.

thank you for taking the time out of your life to even read that mess! it desperately needs editing and condensing.

hell, yeah! but in a different pattern, as yet to be determined.

6 lights. i just mentioned this in a pm but if you were to assign strategic importance to the elements involved in growing indoors out of 10 lighting would get a 6, environment gets a 3, and everything else combined gets a 1.
