Thank you!
Next time I'll go for 6 plants maximum, leaves are getting shredded by the side fans, also they are stretching to move out of the tight space below, I hope males will show ASAP.

NE_GROWER_978 :thank you: I can't wait myself :> but I have to!

Here are the babies after 2 days of 12/12:

After I water them, I remove one CD from each stack (1cm) and I rearrange them under lamps and pack them together to give them more space(barely getting any):

I replaced 2 daylight lamps with 2 warm lights, so now the ratio is 3x daylight and 2x warmlight. I'm gonna stay on this ratio, for some reason I thought I had more warmlight lamps but I'm not gonna invest more into buying CFL's, they cost about $45 per 65w, my next investment should be HID or LED!

Temps and humidity got better too, now its max 27c and min 23c, RH is max 60% min 40%

This is how I arrange the evaporating trays, consumes about 2 liters per day:

Cheers

No signs of males/females yet :(, the F1's showed sex around week 5 anyway, so hopefully starting next week I'll get rid of the males.

BTW I'm seeing double serrated leaves on most of the plants, one of the traits I selected the male for, the other traits were the biggest and stinkiest :D

Subbed. As a fellow micro grower I am impressed by your efficiency.

Here are some of the F2 seeds I made earlier, it's amazing that each plant gave a distinctive shape and pattern on them :noway:

5 years back or so I was luck enough to cross some BBxNL to a couple varied strains and also noticed striking differences in the seed coat patterns, with seeds from each plant looking similar but seeds from different plants looking different.

I whipped out the magnifying glass and convinced myself that the patterns on the seed looked very similar to the tall / short trichome patterns on the calyxes that contained them.

Do you think there could be some link between seed coat pattern or color ratios to sativa / indica -ness of the crosses? I realize that everything is hybridized these days and it's by no means that straightforward, I just got really excited when I saw those seeds your comment.

Are there any other correlations between patterns and plants that you suspect?

And just to clarify, the relationship would be between the sativa/indica ratio of the MOTHER and the coat pattern on her seeds.

Great thread. I love seeing micro cab grows, reminds me of when I first started dabbling with the ladies. I had a 2dx2wx3h cab with a 150w hps and it was a blast and an excellent learning experience.

This makes me really glad the utility company subsidizes CFLs at my local home improvement stores. :)

NE_GROWER_978: all thanks to Andyo :D

HyDroid: Welcome mate, I'm not sure about sativa/indica seed patterns, but from what I heard even from the same phenotype of a certain cross you will find different patterns and shapes on their seeds. I once saw a picture on wikipedia comparing sativa to indica seeds showing how the shape differs, but didn't mention anything about patterns, its not there anymore sadly, maybe false info.

kushedphantom: So much can be learned from micro grows! from what I'm seeing people who start with micro end up better at managing larger areas.

Dilbert Do: CFL's surely improved my life! they're doing it right :D

So the babies are stretching like hell, I had to replace the middle lamp with another one that takes less vertical space, leaves were getting cooked! I'll switch back to the Osram ASAP, this one is 105w daylight:

From what I know when you're using CFL's its better to mix both temperatures, I tried before using more 2700k in flower than 6500k, so now I'm trying more 6500k just to see the difference.

I am very interested in seeing the differences in using the different lighting. Please let us know which you prefered. Nice grow!

TGT: Sure thing mate :tiphat:

Has anyone ever seen something like this? I'm noticing it on most plants, take a look at the leaves facing each other and compare the size!:
