Ah, good luck. Which side? I've spent much more time in the southwest side of the island, around La Parguera, than the north, but I'm pretty certain the north coast is much wetter.

I can't make a seed company recommendation, I've been blessed to have many dear friends who share very openly what genetics they have. However, I have met Chimera, and so based on the level of knowledge and understanding he has demonstrated, along with what I understand is fact that he's getting out of the breeding business, I would say get whatever Sativa-dominant genetics you can get of his. I'm sure many others here will have excellent suggestions for you.
Just remember that anything that is Afghani-dominant (aka Indica dominant) is going to grow rather thick buds that will tend to go moldy, especially on the wetter north coast of the island. This is why I'm recommending going with the tropical Sativa-doms that are already geared for something like tropical island growing.
Wait! I can hear some roosters crowing in San German right now! Oh no, now I just thought of lechon, and empanadillas de chipin.
