Light Bleaching?

Within the past few days I have noticed lot's of my leaves starting to look like this... They are under a 1K air-cooled hood and was never closer than 12in. from the top of the canopy... Temps stay in mid-low 70's. PH drifts from 5.8-6.1 and I'm running 2 separate nutrient lines and all plants are starting to show this so I'm thinking it's not a deficiency of some sort.... Any input guys? I have since raised the light to about 18in from the top of the canopy and it still seems to be progressing.

Yeah its weird I can usually keep the air cooled hoods within a few inches If I wanted too without any signs of stress... I have a bare vert 1K in a tent right next to it and they get within 8in all day without any signs of stress.

hiya..seems your lamps are too close to your plants,i run 3 to4x600w,depending on strain never closer then 16-18in,sometimes have to move up an inch or two,you have a lot of power, light and heat very close to your girls,,good luck,,,peace and safe growing s2

ive got 600w about a foot away but its aircooled. i think its basically frazzled. probs a mixture of bleaching and too much heat.

Mines aircooled also... Temps dont hit higher than 76 so I dont think it has to do with heat. Ive raised the lights to 18in from the canopy so that should be good.

It is light burn and remember each plant is different and not all can take the same amount of light, like nutrients. I never put my 1k's closer than 20 inches.

Some strain I notice this happens too. Others are fine up close. I believe it's strain dependant. Just make sure you have proper air flow by the lights. I know it probably is not heat, but the air still must move around to make new contact with the leaves as the plants can't do it themseves like we do having lungs. If that's okay, just reduce the distance and let us know if it helps.
