KRATOM!!!!!!

Just ordered my first kratom plant....... and this thing wasn't cheap either!!! very cool plant for what ive read up on it but any thoughts or experience out there???

tea or just chewing the leaf. read a lot on it and became interested in it but not sure if i will ever try it hahah i have a horrible problem with taking things that alter my state of mind as far as anxiety and such idk :p

it all depends on the amount that is taken really so i hear. small amounts are better than a cup of coffee and high doses are like opium

KRATOM is pretty good.. very bitter ... chewed it quite a bit a few years ago.. never really got much outta chewing other than a numb mouth from the taste of the stuff.. now a tea is a different story... most noticable with alcohol.. lol not to say its a good idea.. similasr to opiates and to much will make u sick.. some people liek it some don't... i was upset when my kratom died but haven't gotten another ..happy growing

i understand that you could make extract out of it too? probably not so economical with small plant(s).

yea but the plants can get 30' once established in proper climate. and how much did you brew in a tea stunky? i saw someone brew 50 grams for a couple glasses but that seems to be a large amount? :/

Not sure how much material i used in the brews(i'm thinking 50 leaves or so.... there use to be a site just about kratom..kratom doesn't do well with cold weather ....... i'm not sure what zone your in but if it gets 32 or below u will have to move it inside or u will lose it..in one summer with a small cutting you will have plenty of leaved.. fast growing plant can reach a couple feet in one summer...as far as the extract never tried to make it or use it but it is sold online also..

I love kratom and actually have kratom seed pods in the freezer still waiting to grow em out and see what sort of germination rates I can get.

I have done the kratom coffee before and it was actually my daily drink above coffee, it also does great with headaches and it takes awhile to take TOO MUCH and before that happens you feel your lips feel funny or the taste buds so you can spot it or at least that is what I felt.

I never chewed the leaves but did the tea/coffee as well as mixed it with salvia and other herbs to test out from time to time.

Another worth looking into is Calea Z which is a lucid dream enhancer.

I GREW THE CALEA FOR YEARS ... I NEVER DID MAKE A EXTRACT THOUGH.. i'm pretty sure the lucid dreaming would be awesome.. I don't know where in florida you are but if you south enough u could probley leave that kratom out all year.. I use to live in destin and i don't know if could handle that weather or not.. good luck

A friend of mine discovered Kratom about a year ago. He bought it online in a very fine powder. He gave some and encouraged me to try it and so I did. I like it.

Since then I've tried various other batches and have tried consuming it in teas and pills. The best way I've found to costume it however, is to simply take a spoonful and swallow it down with a glass of water.

The effects can be similar to mild opiates. Too much will make you throw up.

I've never grown the stuff. It comes from tropical regions and that won't work at my latitude.

I am prescribed 10mg hydrocodone for pain(REAL pain, not 'I want pills' pain)
Sometimes I take 1/2 of a pack, about 10g of kratom, for a painkilling effect, also mild euphoria like opiates and helps sleep too.
could be habit forming, bee careful
