As I started to trim my plants I have found green catapillars in the buds!!!:wallbash::frown: Can I still smoke the buds after they are worm free and dried and cured.?? Will the worms give the final cured bud a bad taste or screw it up ??? Jon 54 :thank you:

Spray with [fresh] BT. Non toxic to mammals. The caterpillars won't hurt the smokability of the buds, except for their shit. I have cut buds to harvest them, and dipped them and sloshed in water, then hung to dry. No problem with mold etc., but that's with controlled humidity. Good luck. -granger

My experience is different to Granger2's. the problem is not the worms ... altho you must get rid of them immediately ...it's with the dead bits of plant they cause.

outdoors these dead bits soak up water (dew even) and make for a very mouldy situation indeed.

cheers.

Caterpillars like to shit in your buds.. Budworms will burrow in the worms and hang out...
