Why would you delete my post in this thread? It was insightful informative and took time to compose. The mod needs to wake up and learn to differentiate garbage from factual information, this is the fucking breeder's lab- so a modicum of intelligence would be helpful.

Undelete my post if you wish me to contribute real information to this site in the future. I'm not going to bother, if you are going to end up deleting what I write- and I violated no TOUs nor was rude to any other member.

(thanks Lou I posted almost at the same time and didn't read your post until I posted)

No Chimera I did not intend to delete your post nor a couple of others. I did a block deletion after going through a hundred or so off topic posts. I do apologize for that and will dig them up.

You are correct that it is the Breeders Lab. That is why I deleted those off topic posts.

Thanks vonforne. Sorry for giving you give you shit, as you were just doing your job.... it's just frustrating to take the time to compose something intelligent and just have it deleted.

I know it's a thankless job and everyone bitches... so thanks for what you do.

Respectfully,

Chimera's Thread Comments Should Be Re-Inserted

I second Chimera's statement and sentiments:

Please get your website backup copy, extract his previous thread comments, and re-insert this valuable info. He struck a sensible chord when he made the statement that whoever wields the power to remove posts, as the Moderators do, must be familiar and well-versed in the threads they are watching over.

You threw out the baby with the bathwater!!

Peace,

No problem Chimera. And it was a good post BTW. Along with many others in this thread up until a point. I hated to see such good posting get lost in the mix when another member decided it was time to thrash the thread since the point in their mind had been reached.

btw @Tom....theres a few varieties that have very low to no Pistil expression..DoubleDutch is 1...and yes I have it , grown it and it was very fookin weird to look at..It just kept building caylx's all thru bloom...It stopped when i stopped feeding it...was sorta kewl..not super impressive herb tho...def unique far as Pistils2calyx ratio go...looked like raspberry shaped buds with only a few very ridgid odd pistils here n there......I have images of it...not sure what the point is but just talkin..

The stigma are still there likely, it's just that the bracts are too large for many stigma to stand proud of the bracts. It all comes back around to traits being inherited separately, and very few correlations existing.

love this thread. got a few ??? though..

i have a male(?) that when first grown from seed was the frostiest female that i ever saw. it never threw balls or bananas. i cloned it and ever since then it has been a male. it never grows female parts any longer. i have had him for almost 3 years. i have bred him and he has thrown both male and female offspring. and a few females that grew balls. what am i looking at here?

imo you are looking at an intersex female, and that the males among your male/female offspring are all also very likely female, genetically ie in regards to the X Y system.

and Vonforne, I do not speak to humans until inebriated, period, and I feel that those who do, are not even really speaking. Yes, I am guilty of stepping over the line, but not nearly as guilty as others for not even attempting to approach it. How many of you judging have a friggen opinion on this matter? Further, tell me if you will, exactly what matters, for this is the task you've been charged with, is it not?

ok, the only thing I can get sim to in humans is like de la chapelle, xx males, but that to me says there's mutation on the x and it's heritable... esp in the case of those full on male types with no pistils(that people have reported, and more of them in progeny).. time to build my own PCR machine.. like I said before is it something we should perpetuate?, just like should we perpetuate autos or tris ;) ... i'm sure we both prefer the full on ladies(thru selfing) without any downstairs mix ups... but perhaps with all thats gone on before they are in there now regardless..

be good.

Stickshift we call in our world a girl a girl simply because she can carry our baby. But it's there inside our world none the less, the basketball testosterone sporting mustached broad, she's there, always has been. Plants are more flexible, in the plant world, she can impregnate another female with very little encouragement. And this is exactly what this thread is about.

Yes, but if it's that easily heritable, why want it? or is it unavoidable thru recombination... I would of thought this sort of thing esp in regard to xx males would be rarer..

There is no such thing as an XX male, there are only XX (females) with mustaches so to speak. These masculine expressions are scattered across a very broad spectrum, yes, when we crunch the math, it's damn near unavoidable. This X plant expresses "Y" (not really but) due to z being met, across a number of environmental factors, it's no different than attempting to breed for resistance to P, when P to the 8th power is what we're up against, and scattered across nearly all autosomes. It's fucking useless. Particularly, and perhaps only in my opinion, that it's so small a portion of what maters it's not even worth talking about. Crops do NOT get ruined by intersex individuals, not outside of some dudes closet anyway, ime. It was all just some guys lame ass thought, disregard it, imo.

Ie nobody gets to say that QRSTWXY and Z can all if met to (A) degree, will be the plague of all canna-ma-kind, and further if you feed that, you're a problem... Anybody who tries to sell that bullshit should be shot, proverbially, for that whole idea is absolutely idiotic.

It's a female that shows in male form. It's XX has no Y, like in de la chapelle syndrome in humans thats what I'm calling these things (but lets be frank the odds say otherwise, and say it's just intersex forms, this then makes me look at sub dioecious pathways ), it stands to reason it's heritable to me.. so genetically it will always be female, you saying it's mostly only expressed because of the indoor enviroment and that in essence is what triggers the pathways? .. afterall females ALL can do this, I just still prefer to find the ones that don't, but it would appear you say I'm wasting my time.

I'm not saying don't use them that's others call.. but then I wouldn't say don't use tri's either... for me I will stay away rightly or wrongly.. I can only do what suits my enviroment..
