cannabis in the hookah?

when i dont have any weed around i grab my trusty hookah. since hookah tobacco is flavored tobacco covered in molasses, is there anyway that i could cover the cannabis leaves/buds with molasses to get the same effect as i do with the hookah specific tobacco?

my thoughts are to let it dry and cure properly and then add the molasses. once a get a crop in i do plan to take at least an oz. or two and give it a shot to see how it comes out.

the hookah bowl would take about 2-3gr.'s (unground) of cannabis buds at a time, so maybe take that same 2-3gr's and test it with that much first as opposed to a whole oz?

im thinking that i should let the buds sit in the molasses for some time, but how long would be my next question?

you got any ideas about this?

you don't want to smoke molasses man. I'm not a real doctor, but I would say that burning molasses and inhaling whatever the fuck comes out of it would not be very good for your body. You don't want to end up with a lung infection or something funky like that. Why don't you use oil instead? Is there a way to take hash oil and make it less viscous so it almost resembles molasses?
Sounds like you have some extra bud to burn - my light is always on. If you can bring some barely legals that would be even better.

I smoke bud out the hookah, You got to soak the buds in water so they dont burn, You put the foil and coal on top just like the shisha( moist flavord tabbaco). Its like doing a vape, it pretty tight to be honest. I only use it on mids tho it makes shit weed tates way better. and gets you way more fucked up.

sounds like the kids that lived in my dorm my freshman year, they would dip buds in honey and let it dry out then smoke it, or dip whole blunts in cough syrup- not even like codeine cough syrup or anything just regular nyquil, and let them dry out and smoke them. Pretty dumb if you ask me

I like smoking hookah though, there were these girls I went to college with who had a 4 hose hookah and we'd layer shisha and then kief/bud and it tasted awesome. We'd sit out on the lawn in front of my dorm and smoke it and it was great cause it just smelled like shisha and not herb

i would think that hash oil could/would be an option. the reason why i mentioned molasses is due to the fact that, that is what the hookah tobacco is covered in. extra bud!?!?!?! i really wish that were the case!! still havent found work yet and my sig pretty much explains the other reasons . . . its been sooooo dry lately.

i guess your right, hookahs'/ shishas are just my thing though and i do it on occasion. ive got some filters lying around i may just give that a try and see what happens

smoking tobacco in hookahs is a lot worse than smoking cigarettes, I read a medical article stating that smoking one hookah bowel = smoking a pack of cigarettes.

once the grow is up and running im definitely gonna be making dry ice hash, so i do see myself soaking the weed in water like facemelter suggested and then adding the hash to it

you know we did that once and i wasnt sure if i got high at the time because we had smoked some weed before hand and i just thought my high came from being somewhat high already and this new tobacco we had just bought.

so i guess i did get pretty high after all, cause my brother and i decided to put a lil keif on the top of the bowl, didnt get anything really then we broke up a .5 on the top of it but mixed it in a lil at the top. we didnt want the weed to burn too fast, so we tried to cover/mix it with the flavoring of the tobacco.

once i get some higher grade, im gonna try it again. wife got me a hookah from egypt. it looks kinds cheapy but it came from egypt and that makes me happy enough (i enjoy the simplicities life has to offer at times)

i need to know why. what is the down side. i was really heart set on trying that shit, but if there is something i need to know then let me know.

i know it can seem messy, but does it fuck with potency? do you not really get all the trichomes? theres always something with new ideas, it takes a while sometimes to work the kinks out, but if you know something . . .

well the haps is this, got an interview tomorrow so im gonna stay clean until i get the word that im hired, its a dime from some local cat in my old Bx, NY neighborhood so ofcourse im quickly reminded why i started growing in the first place.

figured when the time is right, i'll take half of the lil ass dime bag i got and put half of it in with the hookah to see how it goes.

i really want to try the oil slathered nugs and see how that all turns out BUT of course you all know that, that is down the line once the grow is up and running again.
