Cannatonic, Stinky Pink, and more

Here is my current Legal Medical Grow for my patients and myself. Some are old clones I have. Most are the second time I've grown them out since germinating seeds so I'm still deciding which ones to keep.

Also by the way I paid out $300 bucks for a clone of the cannatonic #4 from a local guy so i didn't have to spend the time ordering, popping, etc. I wanted to have some high CBD stock to play with and make extract out of

Here is the cannatonic. It is #4 of 20 from a local guy. I got a mother plant, and about an eighth of the finished bud for the price. He also told me I could get it back if I lost it or something... It was too much but time is worth more than money...

The sample tested at 16% CBD and .5% THC

Here we have Caramelo from Delicious Seeds. Its a cross of laxendar x lavendar if im not mistaken. I don't have any close ups yet I'm gonna try to get a better camera or something. I hate how the hps makes the plants look

Here we have Stinky Pink. I believe she is one of ed rosenthals favorites. Mine too. Super frosty skunky dense big buds.

The second and third are a huge branch that broke and fell. I gotta get some more close ups still...

One of my absolute favorites. This is the Indiana Bubble Gum clone. The leaves turn purple almost black at the end, and it is some of the best out there. IMO this is the clone that was hit with og to make Bubba kush pre 98. They look, grow, and smell almost identical this one just isn't kushy, its more foxtaily, but in a near pure indica. Takes 55-60 days and BTW it grows awesome outdoors in michigan which is something in itself. Can be a big yielder, but since the flowering time is so short, and the initial stretch is so short, some think it's a low yielder because they don't hit it right. you gotta dial her in and do a whole room to really get good results. Also have seen nice plants in DWC.

Well now that you mention it I have some old ones. They're not so clear, but you can see the color change taking place. I have no idea how far along these are exactly, but everything I have shown until now is at day 47. These are from '09

In the first and second pic, the colors are more apparent near the bottom; you can see purple, green, and yellow leaves. The fourth pic is dried bud from the plant in the first 3. It's pretty blurry

Huh, haven't seen the #4, had the Cannatonic X a couple of times, tested at nearly 20% CBD, 19.34 I believe. Excited to be workin with her to. Chances are they could be closely tied both bein in the mitten.

A high cbd is exactly what I am after, what are the odds are getting a high cbd pheno with the cannatonic? That would make the best medibles, great plants.

IIRC it was Harbourside who did an analysis of 15 or 20 cannatonic's. CBD/THC ratios all over the shop, the only thing they did not have was a perfect 50:50 ratio plant, a lot of roughly 2:1 and 1:2 as well as more extreme ratios. Hard to say from looking at 15 results that this was a statistically valid view, guess the truth is that Cannatonic gives varied ratios with no great trend in any direction.

So, run her and test out on patients, the Thin Layer simple paper cromatography test kits should be fine for seeing basic ratios without knowing the % content precisely, if you want to, you can do that later once you have selected your winners.

locally some guys got 20 seeds they too got all over the board, butthey did get a 50/50 ratio plant, I think its catatonic 6. and
7 was lower cbd like 4%, the best one is x which is 20% plus (although they wouldn't sell the #6, the 5050 is highly coveted I figured why roll the dice why not get a tried and true cut from a guy who put in the time and he uses the donation to help his patients so it goes all around.

Im sorry to hear that. I would have given it to you for free, like the others i gave it to. The number 4, that is. Anything more than 25$ for a clone is... Well lets just say i strongly disagree with it... Especially for cbd rich, actual medicine. i specifically wanted it to add cbd to my bho. The cannatonic x is from a totally dif part of the state. It belongs to the glccc if i remember correctly. The #4 and the others w # are from wacanga. Funny note, the X bounced the quantacann and got an "out of calibration range" reading.

Not that I condone charging that but he did give me about a 24" plant in almost a half a gallon pot plus a sack. I make a decent wage at my gig so i had the guy meet me at work and sort of wrote it off as an expense. Either way my point is it wasnt just a clone it was a mother plant, a sack, and a guarantee that if if I killed it or otherwise he would give it to me again for free. He told me to breed with it clone it whatever so I appreciate not having the chore of starting a new strain.

I remember once when i was about 16, a group of my friends and i bought a couple of grams of bud that looked very good.
It had a good amount of crystals.
When we smoked it we didn't feel ANYTHING, we thought it might be a creeper, we ended up smoking the whole lot, and we still didn't feel ANYTHING?
I had never had this experience before and have never had it since?
Our eyes never went red and we didn't feel stoned at all, or racy or trippy, basically nothing?

Would that possibly have been a strain with very high CBD and very low THC?
Or can a plant look pretty good without having any THC in it?
It burned smooth and tasted ok, it wasn't schwaggy.

I didn't have any ailments that i could have noticed that felt better, if it was a high CBD strain?
I don't know what could have happened?

it still gives you the crashy feeling sort of. Definitely not unpleasant at all just really really really mellow. Tastes and looks and smells dynamite.

I wonder now if I've had high cbd cuts in the past that were otherwise keepers but didn't getyou "high" and I got rid of them. (we call them pretendica) there's so much that goes into it that its 50/50 at best I'd say that you had some cbd weed.

Most ppl would return it if they bought it and say it was too weak if they didn't know imo.

I was wondering if i used them to cross to a different strain would they be likely to increase the CBD? I wouldn't imagine it would hurt?

A breeder I'm not, but I would guess that about 25% of the seeds you get would be high cbd, but not necessarily 1:1 I'm sure there are some good threads about this in the breeders den. If i see one ill throw it up. They could answer your questions and more im sure over there
