I picked up the wrong nutes today:

bloom instead of veg.

I also have GH Flora Grow:

N-P-K
2-1-6

Would a combination of the two be suitable for veg?
I'm no good at nute math

i think i'd agree with mack, either exchange it or bite the bullet and buy some grow nutes. you don't want to just mix something up unless you know your math and chemistry.

GH Flora Grow is meant for veg. Just use that for veg and your bloom nutes for bloom.

ps- the one grow i did with the gh flora line in hydro had the lowest yield. have the best results with the ionic line of nutes. inexpensive too

No exchange possible, and had an expensive week... The Gh grow doesnt seem to have trace minerals, so i might add a tiny bit of through bloom to fill in

Seems like u r mixing between nute lines within the gh line... Like the flora grow is green and is used with two other bottles... The purple and the pink... It's their '3 part' formula. The very first set of numbers you listed...??? I haven't used all of the gh lines, but those ratios aren't from the 3 part mix, so...? Think u r mixing lines, maybe even brands.

Just use the first one you listed til you have the cash to sort out a new line when ya can in a week or two.

All grow shops will exchange. If you bought it from a store..than you can exchange it...easy as that.

Not really... Used to be sop that notes can not be exchanged at all. And if you did know the guy, only if unopened and still sealed... If ya knew the guy... With a rcpt.

Someone I knew bought some big 5gals... Replaced with water... Store sold em to someone, they took it home, took out the notes, filled with water, returned it, store put it back on the shelves, sold it again to this other guy, he went two weeks using it not knowing any better (I chuckled a bit), after having problems checked the clear Chem nutes to find water, took it back, got called a liar by the grow shop. They no longer took returns on nutes... Made a sign even.

I wouldn't want to buy nutes from a shop that took returns... Fuck that.

 

[Hydro-Soil]

Personally... I don't use 'veg' nutes, ever.

Seedlings, Veggings and Blooming, all get bloom nutes.

If you have the Flora Bloom... you'd be best off mixing it with just the Flora Micro. I hope you have some. Never used the "Grow" for anything... never even bought any in the last 10 years.

Vegging with bloom nutes makes for shorter, stockier plants.

0 grow, 8 Micro, 16 Bloom... if you're in hydro. 0, 6, 9 or 0, 6, 12 if you're in coco. 0, 8, 16 for soil... just feed every third watering.

I have had excellent results not using grow nutrients. I even used Hydro by accident 1x had no problems.. Its all about the money guys ....You just need to dilute it.. I only use Bloom with my plants . Never had a issue. If you need a bit more N just add some EWC to the soil mix.


In hydro just use some Revive. I have PBP expert series. It has everything you need to make a custome mix for hydro or soil..

+1 heres another that only uses bloom nutes.

maxibloom in veg and bloom for the past 3 years. before that (almost 10 years) GH 0-8-16 aka Lucas ratio.

on OG there was a spreadsheat (jackerspekle?) that allowed any nutrient line to be converted over....wonder if its still out there?
