Which strain would you recommend?

sounds like you want a 50/50 indy/sativa hybrid, so out of those I would say Sour Kush or AK-47. White Ice may not be bad except I believe that is a White Label strain which I believe is a Sensi Seeds offshoot and their genetics are old and questionable. Same reason I wouldn't rec Black Domina although that is probably a little more indy that what you are looking for. I would suggest Black Widow from Mr. Nice.

Sour Kush is the only strain i have experience with and I know it's good especially mixed with some LA Cheese.

Black Widow looks great, too bad you can't buy feminized seeds. I'll probably try it on my second run if i harvest an extra ounce or two from my first run.

Well, your asking for 2 different strains, IMO.
You want heavy couch lock, AND uplifting/happy.
For couch lock you want an indica, and for uplifting/happy, you want a sativa.

To have both............

To have both is called a hybrid and I'm looking for a very specific one.

NL will bolt you down for good, can't really say its a happy(giggly) strain, however it will make your brain cells explode from the magnitude of thought processing you'll get.

Hmm...sketchy question, but I'd recommend Purple Kush the real cuts or maybe a similar seed form strain. Emerald Triangle has a Purple Kush strain that sounds interesting. DNA's La Confidential is another that kind of fits what you want. Blueberry or something with Blueberry in it also...

I'm afraid I'll have to create my own mix.

20% Pandora's Box + 80% Ak-47 sounds good.

Or

70% Black Widow + 30% Ak-47.

I could probably tweak the ratios to perfection with both of these strains. But, I'm not looking for regular seeds yet.

20% Sharksbreath + 80% Ak-47.

Sharksbreath's taste is disgusting, it truly taste like a shark's breath but it would definitely do the job.

Just to make sure Im being clear. I dont know how anything could be both uplifting and couch lock at the same time. But that stuff is what I imagine Methaqualone/Quaaludes or some serious drugs would be like for knocking you out on the couch. Ive never had anything knock me out for a month like that before! One of the better tasting herbs Ive come across though.

LA Confidential was the first strain i ever smoked.

It's average, not very couch locky , uplifting but not too much and with a little bit of happiness in there.

Def a day time smoke, you're relaxed but can still function if you don't have problems with the paranoid side effect.

Must not have been as potent as what I picked up. Ive been puffin since LA Con was just a twinkle in its parent strains eye's and Ive never had anything knock me out like that. Exactly what I would imagine medical marijuana to be. Couldnt have asked for any better.

Nope, LA Confidential is an average strain.

Half those people (or more) probably were told what they had was LA Confidential, but in reality was some mediocre green trying to be past as such. The LA Confidential my friend grew from seed was memorable to say the least. I wish I still had a cut.

They probably got theirs in a dispensary for $60 an eight and got quick rushed and dried buds without a cure and was left with no flavor.
I get Q's from a buddy Ive been getting Q's of fire from since before LA Con or those shops existed. They dont sell this kinda herb in the shops cuz they keep the fire for themselves.
Ive also had dispensary LA Con.
