Florida Growers Thread

I've been looking for GG for years - but I know it's a real crapshoot at this point. I got the same herb for about 8 years from '79 to '87 and then it seemed to go all indica and indica leaning hybrids.

I don't even know if what I got was actually GG, that was a widely used term by dealers, but I'll NEVER forget the smell that herb had.

The tale of acquiring these genetics will probably be told once I start a thread, but the provenance is as good as I've ever come across.

Well I hope that you ended up with the real deal dude. I havent ever seen it grown but I smoked plenty of it and definitely remember the smell and the way the buds looked. Good vibes you obtained the real deal!!!

I got a few in the stash KK.

dcasper: Back in the day yes. Now no way for me. Too much work on me for one and way too much risk for another. Not enough untouched land to do a guerilla style around here any more either. Now once I have my ideal spot I would build a greenhouse and grow out in the all day long but my ideal spot isnt here that is for sure. lol

yea i feel u there Grownout but iam young and ready lol iam in palm beach pretty city like but figured theres the everglads lol and u our a god with this gorgess plant thats bein givin to us id love to lern everything u know ur plants look so amazing i only hope to be as good as u with in a few years maybe 10 or 15 but still lol

thank i really appreciate that iam new and here to learn as much as i can befor i have a go at it again i learned being unprepared never works out lol and anytime dude wen i see people doing amazing jobs at growing they should be told so no need for so much hate on these forums were all here to do the same thing grow and enjoy the reepings of our hard work

in short, bugs / deer / rabbits / grass hoppers / cops n robbers / bud rot n mold due to heavy rain / poor soil / no reflective or visible stuff from air n ground

if you know how your going to deal with the above you on your way to harvesting some outdoor bud.

there are many who do it but you prob. need to be resourceful to make your location work.

Holy shit dude I havent heard that one in awhile!!! I have always wanted to track that one down but never came up with anything. That was some killer dank back in the day. I will definitely be following along and cant wait for pics!!

I just put my plant on 12/12 cycle so not much for pictures..I will try to get a couple pictures up and aslo my setup..


Tampa/St.Pete here so no outdoors for me...

fyi, getting ready to buy some small NEEM trees to help fight all the bugs and while searching i found that NEEM grows well in almost all climates and will grow to a large shade tree fast but you can contain their size by limiting their container size.

i saw some info describing a NEEM Forrest as being a silent forrest b/c no birds / animals are there b/c no bugs / insects to eat.

sounds like my type of bug / insect control.

Well, the Autumn Equinox is upon us. 10:49 a.m tomorrow morning to be exact. That means outdoor growing season is here!!
From now 'til late spring is what I call the "golden time" for outdoor growing down here in the dirty.
First to go outside is some Bubba Kush. She's been outside for a week now and is the picture of health.
She's in a 5 gallon bucket of coco and being fed nothing but Maxibloom.

Soo lush bro!!! Love it!!! And that MaxiBloom and Grow are excellent nutes imo. They have everything your plants need all in one mix. Good stuff and I ran my whole garden on it for over a year with great sucess.

i cant wait till i can grow some outside......the 'large tree thread' in Tom Hill's forum has tons of valuable info for getting amazon girls.....a very inspiring thread.

EDIT: GH Maxi Grow, i bought some of this when the store was out of MB and it def. greens them up in veg. w/the extra N. i find im using it in veg every few days.
