What type of person steals immature cannabis and damages what they cant take and leave the rest. I'm thinking someone that does not know what they are doing. They didn't even have decent cutting tools and left a flashlight and a trailer ball. I don't think its anyone i know personally, but everyone that knew could be a potential suspect. What would you guys suggest to use as a security system that would be in expensive so i can catch them in the act. I believe they will be back. This is one reason i do not like to grow outdoors. If someone is not there 24 hrs your at high risk.

Game cameras everywhere. Heard of people making trellis netting outta barbed wire. Next season u need a new location or buy snake boots and catch hundreds of rattlers and release them on your property.

Buy a cheap trail cam and put it up in your spot if you think they will be back. Dont be surprised if you catch a photo of one of your "friends".

Thanks for the reply guys.. Ya this was my first one in my backyard at my new house. Gonna be here awhile so no moving. Still setting up my indoor. There are only 2 that know and are trusted friends for 30+ years. I think it could of been random neighbor maybe. Definitely not pro that's for sure. Cameras just watch them take it. I want in the action. Thinking motion alarm with audible and remote detonator. Any more ideas?

spider wire with treble hooks every foot or 2 all the way around the patch ankle high and chest high,im sure you will get atleast some meat or clothing

When it happened to me it turned out to be the tweaker yard laborers a neighbor had hired. They ripped immature plants right out of the ground, and I couldn't figure out how they thought they were going to grow plants without roots. Then my husband told me they were probably smoking the leaves. He was right, they came back. He rigged up a spare automotive batter to an old motorcycle horn on a trip wire, and it WORKED. One time a deer triggered it (dog was useless, she waved to me from the driveway while I went down to shoo it away), and the other time it was the rippers back to try again. Scared 'em off.

Now we have cameras and everything is well-fenced off, but the trip-wire is an always-must-have, it's the best deterrent we have in our arsenal.

Well, you could try a krait safety-pined to the plant. A krait is S. Vietnamese snake. It was called a two-stepper during the war. You have to pierce the skin on the back. The Cong used them in the tunnels.

But getting a poisonous SE Asain snake might prove difficult not mention difficult to work with. Maybe a issue to dis-arm.

Or you might consider one of those driveway alert infra-red gismos. Have it turn on a load sound source such as a boom box and a flood light set-up.

I thought a krait was a sea snake very poisonous but not aggressive. Still sounds like a good idea though.
