Bubba Kush Katsu Cut Experiment 8000 watts

Buba Kush in coco beds with hempy style side drains!

I'm running a sealed room with temps 75* to 80* F and humidity 50% to 55%. The CO2 is fluctuating between 1250ppm to 1500ppm on fuzzy logic. 3 ton Ideal Air mini split, the 13 seer heat pump model, lots of wall fans Active Air and Grow Bright. 8 Big Kahuna hoods that are not being air cooled with Plantmax bulbs. I got the bulbs for a steal and want to see the difference compared to Sunmaster. All 1000w HPS. Grow Bright switchable ballasts I've had forever but had to warranty 2 out the other day due to bad ignitors. My electronics include a Sentinel CHHC 4 to control the CO2 and atmosphere, a HPH 8, and MDT 1 to control the lights. I also had to warranty out my HPH 8 and it was less than a year old but was no big issue.

Any questions feel free to fire away!

Pics within the week and I will include a pic from a past garden but why the 100kb file size limit I am having a hard time uploading my pic.

That is a beautiful Bubba plant whodare! How long did you veg her for and what kind of setup are you running?

been lookin for the katsu bubba for a quick sec........

is she a hard one to find?:tumbleweed:
Def rarer than the 98.........I grew one out years ago. I found it to be tighter and even smaller nugs then the 98. But the nugs were so beautiful and had a very pungent bubba coffee chocalate smell. Great to see it around and in good hands.

She was a challenge to come by and even though she is not my strongest medicine she has never been lost and never will. When Katsu gave it out he wanted people to share it with 5 other people each to spread the love is the story I heard. I will do her right this is her first run with CO2 and wait until I post the pics of the bed she is loving life! I see lots of people say they have bubba but not too many people with the real katsu doing her right. I am definitely going to be much more active on this site as there seems to be a lot of good peeps. What flavors you guys rocking?

thanks swiss, not 100% on legitimacy, but it has the characteristic pre 98 look and smell.

that plant was a mom, had been on a flood and drain table for a few months, so i ripped up a bunch of root ball getting her out, dropped her into the rdwc, gave her a few days to recover and bam off to the races.

i wish now i would have vegged her rootball more in the rdwc, more roots equals more buds, but 14oz and some fluff aint too shabby.

Very nice looking whodare!!
I'm growing Katsu out in a blend of pro-mix,coco,and ocean forest and it took a couple grows to figure this beauty out.Mine likes lots of nitrogen in veg and not a lot of water in flower.
Great looking Bubba you have, she is a special girl.

You are correct sir! She prefers in my opinion a well aerated medium for best growth like coco and coarse perlite. In a thick medium like straight promix or soil she doesn't get enough wet and dry cycles to show her true potential without an overly long veg or small container. Long story short she grows faster and roots better in a well aerated medium.

Yours looks similar to Bubba definitely not the Katsu though. The reason I say that is because of how long and running your buds are it looks like a hybrid or improved version maybe? Does it have a really loud sweet hashy amazing smell to it?
