seamaiden, yep, gettin down to it, also a bit stressful, as yesturday we had heavy rain and gusts to 35mph, was out in the downpour holdin up heavy branches. no damage, gettin ready for another blast today

Do you have Hortonova on hand? That, cheap duct tape and green plant tape are my go-to standby, gotta-haves. I waited too long to trellis (wrap) my girls, so two of them just split right down the middle when the tropical storm hit our area. I'm wondering if it's what's hitting you, and yeah, it was fierce with the thunder, lightening, wind and downpours. Anyway, some tape over and around the wound, plant tape to bind them together and Hortonova to hold everything up and they're just chuggin' along, like nothin' ever happened.

That Hortonova is a GODSEND, whoever invented it was a genius. If someone like myself can handle it, then anyone can handle it.

i do have hortanova and green tape, which is stretchin from the weight. gonna have to go ahead and wrap one more time, only 2 wks out now, maybe salvage the last wrap. hehe, yep i know its worth it.

Hola icky, yep, its dry and cloudy 5mph wind, been openin spots in the plants for airflow, and shakin off the water, wirin up saggin branches. alls good on the mountain.

hasnt rained a spit all year, now when its gettin time, the downpour comes, ages a old man, lol
