277v flood light MH. Any help please!

So i was busy all day aerating and fertilizing turf. At one of my businesses I picked up an old flood light that was junk the owner thought and wanted me haul it off. I got to looking at it and def thought I could use it. here it is

This is what I know. There is a 400w MH bulb in it that looks burned out. Here is a shot of the sticker

This raised an eyebrow. Pri volts = 277? Can u still use it? Here's a shot of the insides. Ballast, capacitor, and socket

The sticker on the ballast is worn out and I can't read shit. I see the word pressure sodium. But it had a MH bulb so it must be switchable?

I've got 7 wires total coming out of ballast. 1= 277v, 1= lamp, 1= x3, 2= cap, 2= com

I remote wired and ground a 250w HPS flood light alot like this a few months ago so I have seen this stuff once before.
So my question to somebody with some knowledge how can I get it working on a standard 120v house plug in. I'm not for sure it even works, so I was gonna run an extension cord and make plug in for it, but if that's not advised let me know. What I'm thinking if it requires 277v its not gonna do shit off of 120v. If there's no way I could hook it up would the parts be of use to me one day??

If anybody could help with a speedy response I'll get u high man. Trying get some progress tonight. Thanks

Throw it out only multi tap ballasts can be rewired to run on different voltages. 277v is industrial applications only.

The socket will be useable.

Wondering if that 'H' doesn't stand for Halogen? hehehe Would probably explain why the MH 400w burnt out. :D

p.s. Your C771 and tapatalk supports https?? Wouldn't connect here without it, not that it does much good anymore.

It supports links yea if that's what u were asking. I uploaded the photos thru the app. Usually I go to icmag Web Site and upload my photos to the albums and then insert links. When I'm working from my phone that is.

Sucks on this light, thought I had something....

Uhh.. no. https://icmag.com is an encrypted session with icmag.com... not the same as just going to http://icmag.com. Regular http traffic can be view/logged by your isp. https: is like sending plain wrapped packages through your isp... they can't just look at the outside of the box and see "grow light" "6" vortex" etc. etc. etc.

It's not MUCH security these days... but considering the number of private associations between isp's and leo these days, it could just be the step that keeps you safe. ALL the phone systems are logged this way...so your tapatalk is most likely a nice well of info on your personal habits.
