Well I just got back from the club and was told that there are at least 8 ppl with lic that have NO PLACE to grow as a matter of fact this is what I'm hearing all the time that there is no place to grow as the police have shut down all the places to grow and if they do open up they will shut them down and go after anyone who tries to help. Once a house has had a grow they block it from being sold. Headband 707

For my original license I went through a MMAR specific doctor.
I just got back from an appointment with my regular doc & he signed my amended (new) B1 regarding my daily increase but I forgot to get him to sign the picture.
Does this require my going back just for that?
The B1 form specifies that a new photo is not necessary if a pic has been submitted within the last 5 years. Mine was submitted 7 months ago.



Does anyone know if there's a specific form letter for this purpose?

if its a new doctor they require their endorsement on the back of one of two passport photos submitted.

Not sure of the other.

I Just typed up something on computer revoking my current licenses, (atp, and ppl) gave the # of my card and name etc, along with my new improved application then I will be good for a year on that license ,....TS

My electrician tried to charge me 30 buck a piece for the locking receptacles and wire ends. That's pretty pricey too. We found the same ones at another place for 17 dollars. The real trick is finding an electrician that will not spill the beans on you, after he has finished. Not like you can just pick up the yellow pages and select the first on the list. Peace GS

I'm an electrician and been in this industry for over 5 years. I've worked on dozens of shows and never disclosed anything, not even to close friends or my brothers. I even had to sign non-disclosure agreements with a few DGs. Knowing there are dozens of gardens out there with over a 1000 lights are burning is kool to me and keeping it a secret is even kooler .

Electrical inspectors I've seen don't like OTS shit like cap, powerbox, ez-box, horticontrol, etc. Get an electrician and have all the work done to code, and teck cable is not required. As long as all wiring to the lamps is 600V SOOW rated 14awg cable, it's fine.

Emergency power shutoff for heat, fire, smoke, etc is a must. If you're electrician knows PLCs, have them build a custom controller that links everything.

If you want to see some custom electrical work and controllers, there should be a thread to post pics of electrical rooms and the controllers/panels. I got a lot of pics of kool shit.

You're electrician should also have a background/experience with automation, security and countersurveillance equipment, power generation, hvac, irrigation, etc.

was just in vancouver at the commissionaires office for crim rec check. the big boss was really nice to me and said they will be not doing health canada checks anymore. she also claimed the rcmp and any other avenues will be closing down tightly or being reluctant.

the best words of advice she gave me was to tell the commissionaires or the rcmp that your check is for travel. is the easiest and safest way to getting a check with no issues.

she also said alot of rcmp are losing/misplacing any apps, or taking extra long for ones that have hc or mmar on them.

when we went into the local police station we had the back ground checks done and printed back (3 copies) within 20 minutes. we also told them strait up it was for the mmar program.

And i'm not sure if the rcmp get any info from health canada regarding new dg's..? good question

rcmp can and will reject the commissionaires request for checks, requesting fingerprints.

commissionaires will soon be not accepting mmar apps. police and rcmp operate a little different from eachother, especially from town to town and province to province. peace, mm

Hey bro I would really like to see some of your work, especially with the multiple sensors to trigger the power shut off. Currently I only run high heat shut offs but I want to upgrade. Like you said it would be really great if someone started a thread and it sounds like there is no one on here better than your self for that job. Post up the link to the thread here on DG corner so we all can check er out!

side note... does any one know if it is legal to trade plants for cash or services with other MMAR licensees?

Pretty sure if any cash changes hands it would only be allowed for the licensee and dg. No cash should change hands between fellow licensee's. I received cuts from other dg's to get started, pretty sure even that is not cool with HC. Peace GS

What applies to cuts changing hands must also apply to plants changing hands. I think I will call them and see what they say about it. If I call twice i'll probly get 2 different answeres tho, it seems like on alot of these things they dont even know whats up.
