So I am getting ready to order a Secret Jardin Dark Room 90 Twin and it occurred to me will a S&P TD-150 cool this whole thing? I will be running a 400 watt HPS for bottom and and a 2ft 4 tube T5 grow light for top with 4x12 Phresh Filter. What do you guys think?



P.S: I'm sure math would be the tool we would use, anybody got any good links?

I also use a 400w HPS and a S&P TD-150, works perfectly for me. I'm not sure what size the tent you're looking at is but my box is 2'x3'x4' roughly, maybe that'll help you gauge it a little bit. My carbon filter is a 6"x16" Phresh also, so a little bit bigger than the one you're looking at.

S&P TD-150 should be fine. I would go with a bigger filter though, like the 6x16.

Right on. The DR90T is 35.5" x 35.5" x 82.7" but with two chambers. The bottom chamber being 59.1" and top is 23.6". I used the Phresh Filter size selector and with a CFM of 170 they suggested the 4x12 at 200 CFM.

I ordered some beans yesterday. I got some Satori, C99, and Hawiian Snow. Arjan of green house said that is favorite strain because he loves sativas. 13 weeks flower, no problem! I want that sativa high.

I also got hooked up with some amazing freebies which I am psyched about. Afghan Kush Special, Cheese Auto, Reserva Privada OG Kush, Chemdawg, Trainwreck, and Blue Dream. All feminized!

There is definitely gonna be some satori males makin love to some of these females for seed, I can't wait! Satori x everything

The 6x16 is double the carbon and double the surface area. Worth it imho. Filter will last longer, create less resistance on the fan, and filter more reliably because the air will be in contact with carbon far longer on it's way through the filter. Also, the 6x16 matches your fan size so you won't need a duct reducer. I had a 4x12 and used it in a drying tent with a TD-125 on low. I never hooked it up to my TD-150, but having owned both I think the 150 is too much fan for a 4x12, imho.

Have you run Satori before? I'd say avoid all the tall wispy sativa pheno's, there's definitely some real strong hybrid pheno's that produce great and grow vigorously. Personally I always thought the smoke was a little bland though.

Hmm, perhaps I do need a bigger filter. The 6x16 isn't much more. Thanks bro!


Will be my first Satori run. I've been dreaming about her for years so hopefully I find some nice mother plants.

If you can fit the 6x16 definitely go for it you'll save the $ in longer filter life.

Satori's not bad you should find at least a couple pretty good phenos in a 10 pack and definitely with 20 you should find some of the best the genes have to offer. I did have one problem though where my best Satori had uncurable PM (but that might have been related to my root aphid infection ugh).
