Please help! first time grower and first post as well so please, take pity one me... Im growing in an enclosed environment under a 250w air cooled M in fox farm ocean forest/light warrior 75/25 mix I have a couple autos and the rest are NL#9 and Ice Bomb all started at the same time in peat pellets, grew them for about 3.5 weeks under 20watt tubes. also i have been using distilled water...So I started them off at a nice distance from the Mh moving them up day by day, hoping not to burn them till finally the plats were about 5 inches from the light. It seemed like the water was being used at a quicker rate so i started watering more... like almost every day... OH!!! they are in 4" pots I dont know if that matters... well im almost sure this is what happened, I mistook overwatered plants for hungry plants and decided to give them their first meal at a little over 4 weeks old. 300ppm of flora nova Grow. since then i watered it once. Then i realized that that was the problem...everything looked droopy and i started noticing the leaves getting lighter in color so i haven watered them in 3 days soil still quite moist. but total devastation.... I have some plants that have stunted growth, some plats that are getting yellow leaves with some light blemishes and i have this one plant thats on its death bed( too bad cause it was one of the better looking ones just last week) and one thats doing well(it seems)anyway i freaked when i came home from work tonight
when i found them like this (soil still wet).... to make matters worse Im sure, I transplanted all of them into 10' pots with lightly misted soil (same mix), I put them as far from the light as my box will allow, about 4 feet. I guess the only question is, What Now?????what can i do, what did i do wrong other then over water...Damn i was hoping i would be good at this. ay help is appreciated, thank you.

the one with the yellowing bottom leaves looks like it needs Nitrogen but you've answered your own question.. You've over-watered them and please invest in a PH meter..A definite must..........please wait for more advice though....these things can always be multi-faceted....

<add edit>.....just saw you put the light as far as you could??!? Should really be the opposite my friend..4' is way too far...should be like 12"-18" and maybe closer if they can handle it....

Some look okay. But there's one or two that don't and concerning those:

Can't say for sure but that claw look considering the overwatering "could" be a sign of root rot. If they're stuck and have lookin like that for a nwhile you might want to consider dousing w bleach or physan20 to kill them and any pythium/rot and start over. Then take that shit and get it far away from the grow.

light was too close, if youre vegging, the nodes should be way farther apart. Ditch the mh and use cfl or hang them higher. Could also be the soil but prob not, would explain yellowing

oh too much h2o

Being familiar with pH and ppm is something, but do u actually use the? What is pH water going in? If using distilled, your ppms are very low. The pH meter generally has a tough time, depending on the brand, reading and stabilizing at low ppm count if working with very low ppm numbers.

Ya, also the over watering. Let em dry out a bit. U will have healthier plants from lack of water than over water.

Just let the soil dry out...remember,,,we call it 'weed' for a reason...Honestly,, it's a pretty tough damn plant...it really does grow like weeds..:)...and seriously, the light being 4' away.....I don't know but I'd say having the nodes close together is a good thing.. The closer the nodes, the bigger the buds...but again..only my opinion..
You really should use the PH meter every watering, I wasn't insinuating anything by sayng get one my friend.. I just didn't know you had one...Please use it always.. If there is one thing that will mess up weed faster than anything it's an out of whack PH. No matter if you have the perfect blend and balance of nutrients, if the PH is off, the plant cannot use the nutrients..

thanks and i have been using the ph meter regularly right along with the tds. dont forget that I am using FF soil so it should already be phd and just to make sure i ph the water at about 6.3

And I just fed them right before this whole overwater shit happened

Thanks To EVERYBODY That Can Help I dont offend easy and dont worry about me trippin when all you folks here, are here to help

Looks like a classic case of over-watering, as others have diagnosed...

too much water inhibits roots from absorbing nutrients, creates an anaerobic state in the soil which can give rise to various bacterial and fungal wilts...

in short you loved 'em too much, happens to every new grower at some point...

They look bad, but not that bad...they should rebound but they have been stunted and it will take time....be patient, let them do there thing

A good way to avoid this, just to pick the pot up and feel its weight, make note of how heavy it feels when just watered and wait for it to dry out again.

If you have to water more than every three days, in a soil mix, your plants probably rootbound and its time to up-pot, Provided your temp and RH are within range.

A good way to get a visual handle on this, plant in clear plastic cup/ tupperware and wrap it in tin foil.

This way u can check/verify the soils moisture and rootboundness as well the evenness of your watering with a quick glance...

Good luck and dont get discouraged...its all part of the learning curve
