Perpetual vertical flower tent?

For what ever it is worth.

I flower six in a 5x5x6.5 tent. I veg for roughly 1 - 1.5 months before going into the bloom tent. I feel it comfortable fits. I could probably fit another one but then everything would be smashed together and my top priority of air circulation would be diminished.

That being said I think 4 plants is the perfect amount in a 4x4. I cant remember the thread name, or user, but there is a guy around these parts that went over 1 gpw using a 600w vert HPS in a 4x4ish space growing AK74.

Chime in if you know the thread name, it was a while back but still bounces to the top of the list every now and again.

Well, it's been two weeks since the seeds started and most of them had the bottom leaves start turning yellow or had 2-4 sets of leaves so I fed them last night, 1/4 dose of PH Perfect Sensi Grow A&B. Here's a pic from 12 hours later. Also, they are currently vegging under 4 22w 6500 bulbs... I will be increasing the lights to the 44w bulbs and add 2 more...I will also be adding reflectix to the walls in the closets and adding some shelves... This is 7 STS Mixed x Haze/Skunk #1 and 2 Romulan bag seed... The 2 younger ones didn't get any mutes yet...

Added 4 more 22w CFL lights tonight, I think I'm may veg under T-5's instead of using all of these CFL's... I keep the lights about 2" from the lights and it looks like they have grown a bit...

Many of the are beginning to show what I think is a nitrogen defeciency, a couple of the others have a little nute burn from the initial nutes... Those were younger plants and I really should have waited until the plants told me it was time instead of going by a time schedule...

I increased the nutrient mixture which was too weak... The new growth is all green...

Wow, these babies are getting big! Im not putting any pictured up today though...

I had originally wanted to use coco with hempy buckets but I ended up getting 3 gallon smart pots and coco... and a 4 ft 6 tube T5 to veg them under... Figured that would work well in the closet...

Since I'm not sure how big they will get, I'm just going to veg them to about 2ft tall and then put them into flower... I'm going to take some clones before I do in case I find a keeper...

I transplanted 5 of them into 3 gallon smart pots filled with coco...I had planned to use hempy buckets but this way instead...

I'm pretty happy with how they are turning out... Had a few plants that I had on a 1/2 strength nute solution that are doing much better now I've moved them to full strength... The new growth is all green...

Has anybody ever seen a leaf shaped like the plant on the front left on the last photo? Those are 1 big leaf not 3 separate leaves...

Ok, so today I discovered that two of the plants have what is called a duck foot trait and there are a couple of strains out there that usually display this trait... Looking like a couple plants got too close to the T5 and got a little bleached... Besides that everything looks good! The four plants in the cups get transplanted into 3 gallon smart pots on Sunday...

There will be 9 plants in 3 gallon pots... As soon as they get two feet tall, I'm gonna flower them after I take some clones...

All done... I think the plants are getting too strong a nute mixture, so I'm backing them all down to 3/4 strength...

A couple things I noticed today, the smart pots already had roots coming through the sides and three of the plants were already displaying 11 fingers on their leaves.

The plants that had been in the beer cups were starting to display signs of being root bound and also signs of nute burn possibly... I transplanted 3 of them into Hempy buckets with 2 inches of perlite on the bottom and filled the rest with coco... I wanted to grow one of the duck foot plants in a hempy bucket and one in a smart pot with a 70/30 coco/perlite mixture... I have to say that I like the coco/perlite mix better than straight coco in the smart pots, I was actually able to get runoff! Im trying to make myself like the smart pots more than the hempy bucket...but the hempy bucket was even easier than the coco mix...

It will be interesting to see the differences... I thinking I will start flowering a couple of the plants in probably two weeks, if any of them get over 2 ft faster than that it may move my timeline up...
