what is everyones view on the real purple plant ? the one thats amazing to watch to grow and have that WOW bag appeal, im really after it and im going to search and search till i find her, origional grandaddy seeds claim to have the origional and be thee origional but whats everyones opinions on this ? there plant looks beautiful but i want to read up as much as i can on the purple strain before i get it as i want it to be the real gorgeous to grow plant that just stands out in a grow room wow whats that!! a purple bud ?? i want my bro to be like that when he sees it grow

There are tonnnnns of legitimate purple strains out there, GDP is an amazing strain with incredible qualities. If you're lookin for the bag appeal I would gather as many purple pheno strains and grow them all at once, then keep the one that stands out among the purple strains. Though it's called grandaddy PURPLE doesn't mean it's going to be a full purp no matter what. There are several elements involved I the purpling of buds. Gather purple strains and keep the one that purples in your room. The most purple plant I've ever seen was purple diesel, super bright purple with green leaves, and it turned color in many different conditions. Good luck with your search! R u refering to kens original granddady purple seeds?? If u indeed are, and its indeed because u dont have access to all the purp clone onlys, then do urself a big favor and go with kens original granddaddy purple seeds from tje pics iv seen the seed strains girls look spot on to the gdp clone in my opinion.... and dude make no mistqke ur talkkn about comparing ome of the best full blooded purps imo(gdp) and puttin em up against som subpar strains and somwat unknown strains

Read/seen good things about Peyote Purple but I gotta say I love my Ken's GDP cut and the GDP s1's I've seen on this site look spot on...

...fast forward to late 2014. A lot of the purple out there (most) is definitely watered down or changed through breeding, or people popping s1's and hybrids and giving out cuts. The crosses and especially s1's or even s1's of s1's look/smell similar to the first erkle I seen and smoked (around 04), but definitely not as good. I think Ken's Grandaddy is way different besides looks and maybe smell than the original purple cuts (grape ape, urkle, gods gift.) Its most different in taste imo.

I had some double purple doja I grew. It was said to be where all purps come from. Beautiful flowers
