As the title implies, I've gained more knowledge and experience that will help me succeed this time around. I actually did a second run after my first time, so this is my third run. Due to being super busy, I decided not to document the previous one. I wish I had though - I ended up with two pounds per my one light, which is a far departure from the one pound I got on my first try.

I'm using the exact same setup and soil composition as before - which can be seen in my previous thread:

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=233469

Only thing I've done differently is actually veg and stake my plants properly - that was my biggest mistake the first time. That was due to a lack of information though - not laziness on my part. Oh, and one more big important addition - lady bugs!!! To get rid of that awful mite problem that perpetually comes in on my cuts. They work wonders- and are cute to watch too!

You'll notice about 3 smaller plants in the pix - that was because my friend who helps me out with the cuts effed up and shorted me a few plants. I had to scramble to get them last minute, and I even vegged two weeks longer than usual to get the stragglers big enough. They did grow considerably in my care, but obviously they're not as big as the others. Oh well, I just have to hope they stretch in these next couple weeks because I simply don't have anymore time to wait. This week I plan to give the girls a haircut - it's hard for me to do, but I have to cut more off from the bottoms. I'm tired of trimming little turdlettes, plus I think the buds on top will be of higher quality if I just get rid of the bottom 1/3rd of the plant. So, here goes! Hope you all follow along on my adventure. As always, I'm open to comments and advice.

Thanks for watching my show guys :)

So I didn’t get to trim the bottoms yet, but I plan to do that tonight. I’m happy with how much they’re growing. This is probably the best looking canopy I’ve had yet. Too bad for those few late stragglers or it would be even better.

Now is my favorite time in the process - just sit back and watch. Of course keeping an eye on the drippers and keeping the res full is necessary, but that’s about the extent of it.

They're looking pretty healthy! Definitely trim them bottoms up this time.

And you could try taking pics in the dark.the yellow light is just so...ugly. The green of the plants will show much better and we can all have a better idea of what we're looking at.

Great job, you must have a good teacher..

Ps-i don't see any lady bugs. Nevermind, I saw a couple.

WEEK 3:

So far so good! I'm very happy with how my girls look. Trimmed the bottoms last week and raised the couple small plants a bit higher up to the light to even out the canopy. The lady bugs are still doing their thing! They truly do work wonders.

I shared my bugs with my buddy who donates the cuts to me and who helped get me started in Lap's absence. His problem, which always became my problem too, was a horrendous mite infestation - and I eradicated his problem as well! It's always a little ironic when the disciple teaches the teacher. Maybe one day I can teach Lap a thing or two! Haha... yeah right  Can't fix perfect

Anyway, here are a few pictures from this week. I know, I know - they're not very good. I did try to catch them just before or after the light, but I was not around at those times last week. I will try again this week.
