i always look for them to find grow gear and such. the regular storage wars they found a meth setup. some guy outbid everyone quick and shut door. probably the owner lol

I have watched but my gut tells me, these storage wars are fake and set up. Its like the producers set up the storage room with stuff.

I did see the Meth one, lol That episode looked fake. Reality TV hahahahahahahaha

Pretty sure it's staged. They're not even regular people, Barry Weiss is some big wig in the music industry.

I find it funny how these people leave all this valuable stuff in there. When they know they can't pay the bill.

If I had one,and couldn't make the payment,I would take all the good stuff out, right?

the way i see it is. if i was low on cash and there was anything of value in storage i would sell it before i lost my unit. and there wouldnt be anything of value left. i think the show is fake as hell. but i like to see what shit is valued at.my storage is paid once a year in full and if i miss a payment they have my backup prepaid card #. i aint loosing my guns

Fastcast, once you miss your payment a 2nd lock goes on the locker, that 2nd lock is never seen on the shows because it's removed by key in advance of the show.

Let's see mortgage payment this month or storage locker? and that's how it starts to a person losing it and all the goods inside, before you get a grasp on your finances it's already been auctioned off.

Yes! the shows are staged but as mentioned @ the beginning of each episode of Auction Hunters (Alan Haff & Ton Jones) a claim is made that the show is a reenactment of actual auction buys made by Alan & Ton. the cameras can't be rolling for every locker they buy and so reenactments are what we see.

that's entertainment.

Yes! Alan & Ton are professional actors but have you seen them working regularly elsewhere? No, and just like other 'bit' actors they have/get side work; buying storage lockers is their side work.

I worked for a man who owned one of the largest storage units in OK. You would be suprized about how many people lose there stuff for non payment.

The worst show is Lizard Lick Towing. Do they really think we believe this crap? Also that Repo show, Holy shit is that a bunch of fake ass scripted shit and the big bald guy what a pussy.

I really love these shows, like the last American treasure hunt

with the exception of Barry Weiss I believe all the buyers on Storage Wars & SW Texas to be people in the industry.......

I think there's still a small window for you to get your thing's out.

Man, I don't think I'll be able to make that storage payment this month.I better get my stuff out of there.

I remember the second lock now.I had a couple lockers a few years ago,but never missed a payment.Isn't there a time frame from stop payment to the placement of the second lock?
I'm kinda tired of these reality shows myself.

I don't think they give ANY grace period or window for redemption of goods, if they did that then folks would take out the good shit leaving nothing for auction bidders & just leaving the crap for the storage facility to clean up. once the renter has failed to pay auction bidders become their next best chance for getting paid and paid well. don't pay, get locked out.
