Upstate NY Medical scene....ugh!!!

For those of you who do not know me I am a med user from NY.I have Fibromyalgia x Myofascil Pain Syndrome x Chronic Fatigue Syndrome on top of RSD and insulin dependant diabetes.I am currently in Pain Management and on 480mg Oxycontin daily on top of 120mg Roxicodone daily and around 100 units of Levamir insulin.The Opiates have turned me into a vomting mess.

Actually gave me cyclic vomting.At 1st tried all meds up to an including Marinol ,which I am currently prescribed.It is worthless.Can't swallow anything when nauseas let alone blowing chow.So here is my bitch.Where I live folks are into Heroin and bath Salts and have no clue when it comes to cannabis.Right now to have any medication at all I am paying 20$ a gram..thats right 140$ a 1/4oz.It was 130.00 2 short weeks ago.This is frigging horsecrap.

I took the liberty of checking out the med scene in legal states.1st one up...Colorado..whole zips of med quality for an avg of 280.00 a zip.Michigan..same thing...everywhere I looked it was the same,with the exception of California.I am at my whits end.My wife works in health field and is scared to lose her job,if I happen to get busted.So at present,I cannot grow.I grow trees and dank ones at that.

I am so stressed out from being fucking scared to death of arrest and now not being able to afford to have my much needed meds.I use cannabis for 3 things..eating(and keeping it down) sleep and to attempt to get comfortable enough to sit for more than 1/2 hour.I'm in virtual agony because I am so stressed out over this.20$ a gram..this isn't bubble hash or top shelf..just White Rhino seedless nice nuggs not kiefed.And to think in quasi legal states I could afford a zzip on what I am paying for a little over 1/4oz.And to make matters worse I have been getting 5 or 51/2 gram 1/4oz's since I can remember cause these lame dicks know Im a med user.Laughing all the way to the ATV dealer while I walk away,cane in hand sweating like a dead dog..Im just fed up boys and girls and needed to vent cause a few minutes more and I was thinking "Postal"..thanks for listening.p.s.I'd be embarrassed and ashamed to sell cannabis to any true med users for that kind of bread..shame shame..2 times..Peace and One Love BigD

Sorry the title was misleading.There is no medical scene in Upstate..just a bunch of greedy bastages making money on the sick.Sound familiar? I hope to see the day where I can grow 12 plants in my backyard.I'd share it freely with sick folks locally.Free it should be..like Yoda would say!

I have had huge sucsess both out and in.I used to grow just enough for me and thats how I want to be able to grow for now.No intentions of selling it,just using it for medicine.My ideal grow would be 52oz's of 6 different strains.Anymore than that and I'd give it away.I'm from the "Old School" of burning..when we used to just call it partying.Share with any and all for years and this is MY pay back.Oh well 2 wrongs don't make a right..Peace and One Love BigD

Hammer-they have been pending off and on for years.And as long as Rep Dean Skelos is in control,it wont even be brought up to vote on it.I know as I am very involved in the Ny legal scene and have e-mail,written and talked to many reps from NY.Skelos is the main reason it wont make it to vote.I got news for him,it isn't about him or what he wants.Its about whatthe taxpayers want and accord to gallup poll 75% want medical at least! There is no medical scene in upstate NY. You need to know someone who is well connected, or just grow it yourself. If NY won't legalize mixed martial arts there is no way in hell medical cannabis is becoming legal. You'd save a lot of money buying the equipment and doing it yourself.

We as a family just bought our 1st home and my wife has very good job..so a move is out.I can only hope that Ny comes to its senses before all is said and done.As progressive as NY professes to be,they are 20 years behind the times.To be in fear sucks..what sucks even more is not having a connection to get meds that I need or I wouldnt bother with all the stigma and bullshit.When teens have an easier time scoring than I do,there's a problem.And anything over 280 a zip is sad.....I am former grower so I know the costs and it can be done sucsessfully inside on the cheap as I have done it time and time again.Free the weed for those in need is my original slogan and I end my e-mails to state reps with it.Free being the key word as where I am coming from weed is a weed and should be free to those who need it or want it.Its not like its terribly difficult to grow it...BigD

bigdaddy: may i recommend looking up massage therapists in your local area, ones that special is in MFT, myofascia treatment, - also try changing your diet? fibromyalgia can be caused by bad diets, or gluten allergies, some things (if u havent already) you may want to check into...sorry cant be more of a help for the med scene, just thought id add my .2cents as i hate to hear anyone in pain.
