DHF - Build it and they will come

Inject - Thanks man, enjoy the show.

Bonzo - Only thing I do before chop is decide how much water I want in the plant. If you want a faster dry time allow the root zone to become dried out before chop. If time isn't a concern and you want the best cure maintain normal wetness up until chop. No dark periods etc.

I like my leaves crisp when I trim. I have even water during the trim so that they were wet enough to be crisp. It is easier for me to get tight to the bud if the leaf is sticking straight out and not wilted. Just my preference though.

Ich - I was thinking about this right after I posted that last bit. When I say dry I don't mean until your plant is wilting. I mean dry like, ready to be watered again in a normal wet/dry cycle if you were hand watering soil. Agreed that crisp leaves are easiest to get a tighter trim. I prefer to trim buds wet for this reason, and I sneeze less cutting while wet.

Bonz - Forgot to mention the blumats are working wonderfully

:yeahthats

On the last two ladies I pulled, I closed the blumat a couple days before I picked 'em. Seemed to help w/ the dry time, and no real ill-effect on the resulting dry & experience.

Just a quick update.
11/11 Chemmy Jones still kickin and transplanted to cups
11/11 Con Chem, found I have 11 of these also instead of 10
7/10 Destroyer transplanted to cups. Guess they just needed an extra day to get going. The last three havn't cracked yet. If they don't by tommorow I think i'll put the other pack in water and see how many of those come up.

Mag drive 7 pump came today. Going to upgrade the one in flower for better mixing.

Silver - Yup works pretty good if you need to shave a couple days off your drying time ;)

There`s been so much debate and heated arguements over the last days before harvey and howta control it for the best possible end product once ready for market.....

I live in Hell with mega humidity and dehuey`s and wall fan`s hoonin around , over , and under for complete circulation with air extraction twice per minute that saved me when I hung bigger or smaller plants....

It`s all about 1 thing.....Gettin RH down to 62% RH by whatever means necessary to burp and bag yer bitches during dry=cure process for optimum moisture retention and smoke-ability......

I dwindled my ppm`s down the last week-10 days before chop and gave no dark period nor starved em of juice......I let the dehuey`s and air extraction along with the wall fans all around to take care of shit slowly as it was intended to be.......

2 weeks was where I cut shit off limbs and bagged em for market........I had the cigar RH discs to make sure 62% was maintained before goin out the door....

If you do this for anything other than personal........Do yer homework and cover all yer bases .......Only makes shit easier in the long run....

Mr D...Like yer style and appreciate your input to keep folks on the straight and narrow....

You da man........and Bobbles is comin fer yas.......:moon:......

Time will tell .....but.....My money`s on the old man.....and ONLY.......

Cuz it gives Bobbles the incentive ta prove me wrong......Let`s get it on........

Peace....Freds.....:ying:.....

Hey D, not that I'm telling ya what to do or anything.... But have you thought about angling the pots inside of the saucers? It would be real easy if you just put a bar across the front to support the bags... Be careful of tipping the bags too far over and getting an ear full of coco though.... ;) I was also gonna ask if you thought about wrapping the back of your racks in reflectix to capture the light better... But maybe it's not in the budget right now. The white paint does a good enough job.

Anyway, looks tight... But I'm not scurred.... :)

Update time again :woohoo:. Visited the grow yesterday, and got some things sorted out. First off, I tore my flower res apart and found the cause of my slime......... pipe tape. Some was left exposed and the water semi dissolved it. Then it was sucked into my filter. Thank god, thought I had cynobacteria for a minute. Explains why I wasn't seeing the slime in veg, in my jar tests, or anywhere but in my filter. Really glad I installed the filter. Or I would likely be replacing alot of 3mm tubing right now, and wondering wtf was causing the issue. Next thing I want to mention is fred was right as usual . I allowed the micro/bloom/acid to mix for 24 hours before adding sm-90, which was diluted in 5 gals of water, and no clouding .

I got these bottles 20 days ago

To be fair though I have ~170 gal. of mixed nute to use. Which right now is enough for about 10 days.

Built a shelf for the clone station. The eighth destroyer cracked and is doing well it's new home. However one con chem, and one destroyer never made it above soil after sprouting. Leaves me with 11 chemmy jones, 10 con chem, 7 destroyer.

Veg table now half full. Waiting for my chips to arrive so I can transplant the rest of the jacks, and soon the bogglegums, cenex, and dmk.

Took one of the res's out of flower just to simplify the slime issue. Added a ball valve and upgraded the pump to 700 gph.

Bogglegum from behind. Now ~3ft wide.

And a side shot

Shots of the racks. I under vegged just about everything this round. Ideally I want all the plants to grow up to the soil line of the plant above them, kind of like the plant on the middle right.

picture.php

Hard to get good pictures in the rack.... Plants look kind of droopy because these were taken during their night period. Lights on they stand at attention.

The filter screen is 150 mesh. Not sure what that is in microns? Yea i'm thinking it's all down to giving each element time to mix throughly into solution before adding the next product. That and keeping the thread tape out of your res . Well in my case anyway :moon:. Three bulbs, all ushio 600's.
