2 Weeks No Water

Hello,

I'm growing some green crack in a 20 gallon pot with some fox farm soil.

Last time I watered her was on 8/6/2012

Its been two weeks but I foliar spray with Thrive Alive B-1 Green everyday.

How much longer should I wait on watering this bitch?

I'm thinking the roots got a nice lil vacation and its time to wake them back up.

Should I wait a little longer, see how long she goes with just one watering, or should I just water her more regularly?

Thanks and I know this is a little nuts

Here are pictures.

Some pictures are older than others.

Doesn't look thirsty to me, and I think the Thrive Alive B-1 Green Foliar Spray is the reason she isn't dead.

Should I water her? Cush is looking happy as ever and Doesn't seem to want water, or communicate this.

Thanks!

The damn'd pictures have no titles so sorry for duplicates. I'm actually going to start a Journal and very legit picture set up for my hydro garden.

This is just my mother in soil, the only plant I have in soil. I almost killed her a while back, She was root bound and I over watered/fertilized, was a mess. But now she is back alive and super sexy.

I Trained her because of my limited space and to get more clones via more tops.

Thanks for all your help everyone!

a great way when learning is to have two pots with soil. One with the plant and one without and when the one with the plant feels light like the one without then water.

Sometimes its hard to gauge how wet the soil is especially after a few inches unless you "dipstick" your soil which can potentially harm roots.

After awhile you will start being able to gauge it easier. Now if you have silica rock or other air/drainage helpers in the soil it can be very hard to gauge by weight especially in larger containers.

I tend to wait until the leaves droop as I don't worry about the topsoil being dry and actually it can be GREAT especially for bug reduction but not for seedlings, small clones and just getting started plants etc as they need the moisture etc when gettin going

I actually was looking for other people's experience who didn't have to water for 2 weeks plus.

I watered here today and she's been droopy since but definitely happy!

Thanks Medmaker420!

Probably will be another 2 weeks before she gets watered again ^_^

Ive gone two weeks between watering after a repot. The roots havent had a chance to grow into the new soil making the pore water last longer. Once the roots fill in, I can go up to 5 days.

Plant dependent. Some of the crops in afghanistan go 2 weeks regularly without water. overwatering can hurt your yield. The roots need a nice dry cycle which most people are scared to do

Its easy to determine when to water first by having the plant in the right sized container for the plant size.I would never have a seedling in a 3 gal container for instance.I simply water until full saturation and some run-off,then wait for the soil to dry before watering again.I woudlnt go two weeks without food and water in my grows
