tissue culture in the tobacco industry is pretty common... dunno how well cannabis does with this technique though

its funny how every MJ tissue culture video on youtube is with some braindead greasy looking hick claiming he's solved it and is selling the kit to do it.

This is totally possible, plausible. I have many pdf's on this matter with evidence of 2nd generation micro-propagule cannabis plants growing in the field.

The problem lies within the other more sophisticated areas of this method of advanced Propagation, using somatic and non zygotic embryos is a different game entirely.

Both methods work.

There is/was a Dutch company selling Micro-propagule's already and has for years.

It is the norm for medicinal cannabis.

There was an article in TY mag a long time ago.

I will be going university to study micro-propagation this year.

I will be doing work placement also as part of the course.

I have some experience in this area of micro-biology and would love to talk more with educated and clued up people on this matter in hand.

Micro-propagation is after all only another more sophisticated method of propagation just like creating a mini garden in a glass jar.

It's not really that hard to make your own. Even a guy like me has done it with success. By that reasoning, I'm fairly certain you guys could do it as well.

It has been brought to my attention that this company was in Treating Yourself magazine. They have ripped off folks and as Marco style goes, he will be printing a retraction on them. Just thought ya'll deserved the heads up. Peace GS

I saw some dude at my hydro store on "ask the pro's" sample days selling culture kits or something like that. I think he used to own the shop and then sold it to pursue this. My buddy [also an icmagger] got a couple flower cultures, iris I think. I'll see if I can get him to pop up and speak on it.

GS sent me a PM and pointed out that I neglected to update my experience. Thanks for the prompt, GS.

I never received the clones, total scam. I was strung along with a few bullshit e-mails then I contacted Marco at Treating Yourself Mag. and he said he had other complaints and was going to print a retraction in the next editorial. I never checked to see if he did.

So, be warned, Advanced Tissue Culture is a well set up scam and I think TY has some 'splainin to do. Marco admitted he did not write the article or check any facts, simply printed what he was sent.

I was asked about this a few times when they came online, and my answer was always "we'll see..wait and see what yout get before praising them".

They had no pics of cannabis growing in vitro on their webpage, just regular plant grown branches stuck in mason jars. Cannabis growing in vitro does not look like that, period.

Otherwise they used a bunch of stock TC images from the web that had nothing to do with cannabis. Look at their webpage- all the pics are of plants other than cannabis.

The other big tip off should have been their variety list. No real growers would build a stable of those clones, with what floats around relatively freely to growers within the cannabis community. Their stock list looks like DP's seed catalog... newb attractors.

OneToke I'll be glad to have you as a tester when our new product is on the market, hopefully it'll take the sting out of the loss. It's going to be a few months though before we're ready to shipping fully.

A final reminder... good genes flow from BC to NS, not the otherway around. ;) I love the maritimers, some of the kindest people in the country... but the bud gradient is highest in BC, no doubt about that. That should have tipped everyone off! :D

Other clues... no phone number, no business address, no tax..... yep I wanted to believe real bad.

I was smart enough to send the payment registered mail, some one signed for it and rented the P.O. Box but if I call the cops I'm bringing myself to their attn, not something I want to do. And he knows it.

Thanks very much, Chimera, I would be more than happy to participate obviously and it does a lot more than take the sting out of it, bro. Happy camper over here.
