Hi All-

Damn it's been a long time! Well...a little history. I've been around for awhile, then went on an internet posting hiatus and haven't posted anything in quite sometime. I've been growing indoors the whole time with various setups from organic soil to a hydro coco drip system ranging from 4k watts - 8k watts.

I absolutely love this tree!!!! Wow I can't say that enough.

My dream has always been doing my thing out in California and so I jumped when the opportunity arose. We damn near have the whole entire side of a hill (big hill) to work with. It is southern facing so the exposure is fantastic. It is completely off-grid. For power, we have a 2k watt generator, some solar lights, and the sun. Water, 2 springs. We have one of them rigged up with a few hundred gallons on demand at all times. It pumps about 1500-2000 gallons out of the side of the hill a day and has done so for at least the last 20 years or so ( the length it was tracked).

The property was actually acquired with girls already on it. Crazy I know but that is this state for ya!! There are approx 25 or so girls. Blue Cheese, Blue Dream, Sour D, God's Gift, and a couple more can't remember... Although it's fantastic to have the girls, we are working with issues and things that were already done by others that certainly do not have the motivation that we do :dance013:

The dirt mix used is not anywhere near what it should be imo. I am not going to do anything at this point, they are too big. There should be a ton more perlite for one as well as a better blend of nutes.

Work has begun on a greenhouse structure. Shoutout to the Costco Carport threads!!!!! Things are not perfect as you will see in pics, but damn. Trying to get the ground perfectly level on the side of a hill with a Bobcat, and some incredibly hard ground is not easy but I do not think the girls will mind a bit.

Any questions or anything feel free. When on the farm I am completely off grid so may not post for a week or two. Happy Growing !!!!!!!!!

supermanlives- thanks for stopping by my friend. It is a great life up here !!

Alot of work on the hill the past couple of days. Weather is just gorgeous. 75-80 degrees as i'm typing this with a light breeze. Had a big black bear visit the other night. Hossauce said it was the biggest he'd seen. Lastnight she came back.....with 2 cubs. Needless to say, we will be careful in the gardens!!!

We are starting to fill smart pots for our fall run. We will be bringing these babies down in december. Expect some incredible color on the OG kush, and the Blue Dream that we put in there. We will most likely be putting some sort of wood or pellet stove in the carport later in the season to keep things at optimal temperatures and to ensure the metabolisms of the plants do not come to a halt.

The smells in gold country this time of year are great as I smell herb driving down the road in some parts of the land, plants are starting to ripen!! Pics and pics....enjoy! Keep the love for the ladies flowing.....

Hey all, Hossauce here. Finally picked up some pretty solid mobile broadband so I'll be able to do some more frequent updates out here on the property...

As jbar mentioned I've had a pretty unwelcome visitor the last few nights. I had a decent 3 second staredown the first night before she got scared and ran, from just outside the RV door obviously. Biggest black bear I've seen. Then last night. An hour after I go to bed I hear something messing with the trash a few feet outside my open window. I look to see what I knew was Paddy again, but instead see her cub. I yell and she scatters with a cub, and another cub kind of freaks out an climbs the pine tree right in camp an hangs out for a minute, before scattering. Nice work on that subway bag an other food items I told you to not put in there jbar lol. Oh, for size reference...

Carport in preparation. Breaking up the clumps in over 100 bags of soil is kinda shitty

Manny hangin out, catchin some rays at sunset

Gifts wrapped nicely in tressil. Felt horrible handling the flowers more than I knew I should, but they'll appreciate the support

:tiphat: Cheers fellas. Figured I'd drop in and give you a couple pictures to look at. Carport is up and operational with supplemental lighting.

Another Manny starting to call the carport home

This is an exciting time of the year for us all, here's to everyone pulling extremely successful harvests. Best of luck !

Nice progress on that!!! I love the shot with the sunset in the background. I saw a praying mantis this morning. So hopefully the story I told you guys of my first year here repeats itself.

I like the solar lights by individual plants also, I've always thought about that and never saw anyone try it. Very good.

Keep up the good work!
