PBP is not all chem. Its a Natural/Organic based nutrient.. I have to use a recerc pump to keep the Organics from falling out of suspension. PBP has had some serious debates. It all comes down to Money. To get there Product approved for OMRI certification they had a few NATRAL ingredients that where not on there list. They could have had them added but the cost was way to high and decided the certification was not needed..I agree .... I use this to make my own cal/mag

Your absolutely correct theres always going to be people that like different things then myself or others. That's just human nature. Since it produces top shelf for myself I love the stuff.

Killer reef tank bro I had a 300 gallon reef tank for 10 years also. Building a new one at my new house. What week did you hit your girls with pk 13 and is that all you used besides pure blend?

Nice never knew they had a "expert series".
The only reason why Bot is not OMRI is approved is they use potassium hydroxide during the extraction process.
I always SWEET. I use it all the way thru. Sweet contains all those usefull simple and complex Carbos that help plant cells generate faster and create more f them. With sweet use also get vitamins and trace elements that Black Strap does not have.

Liquid Karma is nice too. It feeds all the microbes and bacteria in your medium.
I have also switched my calmag plus to Calimagic.

But in regards to base I cant make up my mind between Botanicare or Dyna

it may be hard to find. I was told there changing the formulas on all of there expert line. The store gave me those for free.

I use the PK boost from weeks 4-6. Ya thats all I use. I do use Karma when I have it but only in veg....

To be honest its in a book that I have. It says that Sweet is derived from Epsom salt and ferrous sulfate.
Also contains: ane sugar, citric acid, vitamin C, thiamine, riboflavin, pyridoxine, niacin, glycine, alanine, valine, leucine, isoleucine, serine, theronine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, asparagine, glutamine, lysine, arginine, histidine, cystenine, cystine, methionine, proline, phenylalanine, tyrosine, trytophan, agrimineral 76 micro complex, 1.50% magnesium, 2.00% sulfur and .06% iron

Some call it Banana-care.... as in it's tendency to throw naners...
I ran it quite a bit. Imo... that nickname is somewhat accurate. As to which specific product under that brand caused it, I cant say. Other than that...
It won't produce the biggest or frostiest flowers, but the final product smokes pretty damn good.

Not necessary to add on but I've been using the whole line for 2+ years now and love it. I grow in Pro-mix and use r.o. water. The "banana" comment I totally disagree with- I've never had a problem and it's more likely grower error or strain tendencies. It can be expensive as opposed to some others but the bottom line is: it's has high quality ingredients and its' salts don't build up in the medium like a lot of the other brands. I also add in one of the "zymes" i.e. cannazyme or sensizym to help with the fert breakdown. In 20+ years of growing, it's my brand of choice. And I've tried most of them. In hydro, I would be using G.H...

Sorry, but it's user error. Anotherwards, if you didn't get bud, it's you, not the fertilizer. I'm guessing either light leaks, interrupted dark period or poor strain choice. The plants are predisposed to produce bud and no fertilizer will or can change that. So many people think it's easy to produce quality smoke, they invest tons of money and time, and end up in your same situation. Out of the 9 or 10 people I know that have tried, only a few have had success. So, again, and I'm sure most will agree- don't blame the fertilizer. It has little to do with your situation........

Yeah i know i probably didn't do something right. i was just ranting. I got bud it's just runny and has very little calaxes. just a shit ton of red hairs and some leaves.the buds are pretty good size but not dense. i did have an ac unit with a small screen with a blue light. mabey that was the culprit. it was platinum bubba so loose buds are not the norm. i will probably make a bunch of hash out of it. i dont want to be that guy that tries to push crappy weed.

Chiesel And Blue Cheese Pictured.. Pix 3 weeks old.
Harvested and 2 weeks Cured. As of now.

Botanicare PBP at 60% with Fox Farm Beastie Bloomz/Cha Ching + Hygrozyme and Botanicare additives.. Occasional Nitrozyme and/or Carbo Load. Organic Soil. Light Dep. I like Botanicare for this soil application. Very smooth taste, Sweet, Dank and Well Flushed. Each Strain tastes Completely As they Should. NOT with the background of All-the-same-flavour. One needs to not overuse the "SWEET" or that can happen. Hence the alternating with the more inert CARBO LOAD.

Click on the pics, and one can see there is no shortage of Density or Trichomes. It turned out to be a Fine Run - making me happy, even as we speak, as I rip into some Mental Floss.

Peace..

You have to match up the right one with your growing medium. What are u growing in and I'll direct u to the proper chart.....I grow in promix and use the "hydrogarden" formulas...

I use PBP I only have 1 feeding chart that's in my head. I do not follow the bottles directions. I go by the ec of my mix. IME pbp does not cause naners or hermis thats just ridiculous.

Hey holmes,I like Botanicare, good solid compassionate company..they WILL ship freedbie just for asking.I like that. They also have good prices.

With that being said, there ARE better companies, they seem like their mixes are ehavily diluted, high ratios,etc...I like GenHydro more,

I've run Botanicare nutes for the last couple years. I run the CNS line in veg, and then use bloom, ripe, and hydroplex in flower. The buds are absolutely top notch: dense, frosty, great taste, and a smooth smoke.

I can no longer endorse or condone CNS17. Ive had several bottles of their Bloom turn to chunks straight out of the bottle.
Im going to write them an email and see if they send me something free. Im not sure they have any products I would use anymore though.

I have been using PBP plus assorted other Botanicare additives for almost all of my growing career. I think I had pretty good success with the PBP line, but I just switched to CNS17 to try out. I'm going to try just running Grow, Bloom and Ripe; no additives, not even CM+. We'll see how things go. I'm hoping this switch keeps my hydro system cleaner. Before it was just like salts and organics all over every surface and in all the lines.

I haven't seen any chunks in the CNS17, but I do see some sandy granular stuff in the bottom of my res. Not sure if that's from the CNS or the Silica Blast that I'm running out.
