I don't do well in populated areas... family life suffers from the stress.
We're VERY happy where we're at and I really don't see us moving. We'll deal with it.

My family eats well, we just live spartan.

Sell anything not essential to eating and having a roof via craigslist.

Be surprised what you don't "need". I sold my bed last year to keep electricity on. Still alive - no rotting food in the fridge...back gets sore from time to time, but carpet isn't really hard - compared to concrete under a bridge.

I had TONS of awesome shit in my place before hit hard times and over the course of a year or so I sold EVERYTHING on Craigslist...guitars, amps, video games, MY ONLY GROW LIGHT (dude was there with cash within like 3 hours of posting the ad), computer, all kinds of shit. I now have a futon, small crappy crt television, laptop, and clothes and toiletries. I used to have to decide whether I should play guitar and jam out or play some Wii. Now I have to decide if I want to use the laptop or go do something outside. If I have weed I usually just stay inside.

This thread is a non-issue for me now. Appreciate all the good suggestions that folks dropped, I have a strongbox of ideas now.

The wife picked up a second job... good money. Told me she's of the mind that I'm the better parent to raise the child and I agree. Now I just have to train myself to clean house better than I have in the past.

Can't wait to finish the new incubator and get to work on tempeh and miso again... Oh man, life is good!
