Is FIM'ing in week1 of flower a bad idea?

I have some plants outdoors, and i FIMM'ed all the main branches on one of them.
Within a few days after i did it, i started noticing hairs showing on all of the plants.

So basically, i FIM'ed it right before it started flowering..

Is this bad? Will it diminish my yield? What will happen?
Have any of you done this before?

Please, any info is greatly appreciated!
Thanks..

Yes... it will slow down the spurt of growth your plants have just begun to grow with.
It's best to have your plants at full growth rates, especially the first couple weeks of flower.
edit: Yes... it will lower overall yield.

Now, if you're trying to control overall height... it can be a welcome compromise.

Stay Safe! :blowbubbles:

Well, the outdoor plants stretched a bit, and thats when i did it. So they already kinda had their stretching phase, but they didnt have any hairs yet, so thats when i FIMMed the main branches.. Hopefully they will still produce well :/
