I gotta vent.
It sucks living in a economically depressed situation. ARGHHHH!!!
No jobs, no money. Everyone I know is broke, or almost broke.
Where I live, you can't hardly give weed away. Forget making money.
Marijuana eradication copters fly every month. But everyone has weed.
I'm sitting on the best sativa's I have ever grown. Cant move Kataract Kush x ChemD. wtf???
Anywhere else it would be gone. Not here,lol..
Not because it sucks, or its not grown well. Because NO ONE has any money. I cant find anyone, any where,in any situation that has extra cash for weed.
I gotta get outside my circle more. meet new people, go new places...
Wanting to make money somehow so bad I can taste it, just not having any luck. ARGHHHHH...
I have been so broke lately its shameful. I got bills pilling up, child support to pay and my shoes have holes in the sole....
I dont drink, I dont have a habit. I dont eat out, or go to bars or nightclubs anymore. All I spend my money on is food and bills. I have not had an extra $20 for MONTHS...
At his point I have been living on under $300 a month...
I would sell my land and move, but im too broke to move anywhere,lol.

Dude I know one industry that 1) you can ALWAYS find full time work 2) Get FULL benefits ......get a CDL Class A license and drive a truck. I know of 4 companies that will FEED, HOUSE and TRAIN AND PAY you during all of this, then you will work as much as you want.

Now it not glamorous or exciting (well it can be when you almost die) but it is honest work for honest pay.....trust me I know....lol.

I feel yah bro, now about your weed problem, marketing is EVERYTHING, we have a slightly similar problem here, I can sell it but (to put not to fine a point on it) I want to make as much as I can for my hard work as I can, so it is impossible to get a decent price locally, SWIM's stuff NEVER stay's in Cali. I know this pisses some people off but I really don't care, my stuff ALL goes back east for about 30% (indoor only)+ more money. I also LOAD up on really cheap outdoor and send it back for almost a 50% markup....easy peasy....

I am self employed. I own a 3 acre farm. I have 2 children.
Anyone who knows anything about owning a farm and having kids knows its a FULL TIME JOB.
All my money goes to my farm and family. nuff said. I said I have not had an EXTRA $20. I have reached a plateau so to speak.
I need something to take me over the top.

What I was venting about is economically depressed situations.
Try living in a place with no jobs and no money . I work hard to provide for myself and my family. I know the money is out there, I'm just having a hard time finding it.

I live in Hawaii of all places. In rural Hawaii, out in the stix,lol. If you lived here you would understand, weed is free only because everyone grows it. I usually run into someone I know and or I have weed. Everyone I know grows and lives here long term. Everyone I know is broke and trying to sell weed to each other to not be broke.
Its $280 here also, or more, or less. Most people I know say $200 just to get that money. Its cutthroat round here..

This is somewhat true. I got many eggs in many baskets. Weed is in no ways my only means of income. Its a hobby at this, but I'm looking to become more sustainable. I have been told if more people had jobs, they would have more money and they would buy this awesome weed. But most people cannot afford it. I live in the epicenter of free weed in Hawaii.
Imagine if you owned and lived on a dairy farm. All your neighbors, and everyone you know is dairy farmers also. Then imagine everyone lives on an island, all together. Got milk?? You get my point?

I have a full time job, 8 hrs a day, PLUS I own a 3 acre farm. So that's 2 jobs ya troll.If that's not enough, I have 2 kids and a life. There is only 24 hrs in a day. I rise at 5 am, do farm chores till 9 am, when I go to work. 9 hrs later I'm home again doing farm chores till after dark, then spending a little time with my family.

All I ever hear from tourists who go to Hawaii is that unless you luck out with a roadside stand, its next to impossible to score herb from the locals. Maybe that's changed significantly.

I get it that you're working way more than full time, and furthermore, probably don't want to start letting go small pieces at a time to strangers. Maybe a day off a week spent at the beach in a 'loud', obvious toker kind of look could net you a weekly paycheck to boost that income. Understood if its all for personal and stuff.

Someone mentioned Japan.... maybe how some Japanese stuck in their homeland will compensate way more than a local marketplace....how are your hash making skills and how good at hiding dust in random objects to send as "birthday presents" or "Island Souvenirs"? Not advocating it, just saying.

You say you run a farm too. I thought food costs were sky high there. Maybe the marketplace is saturated already. If not though, why not capitalize on that and undersell on the foods that are expensive to ship in. i don't know the market though, so giving ideas blindly a little. You could even put your kids to work 9if old enough) running a stand, learning skills like using a cash register and upselling, etc.

If you own 3 acres in one of the most expensive places to own/buy land and you're strapped for cash and feel stuck, why not sell an acre for some crazy price and use the cash to do what you want, whether re-locating and renting out the farm, paying monthly bills, or whatever. Saying this, I know many would never want to let go of land like that, just slowly selling off their equity.

Dude, I'm sorry to hear of your problem. And I've walked in your shoes. Living in a place where everybody grows...and trying to get your foot in the door isn't easy. This is what I've learned living here a long damn time.

Getting started you gotta go small. To get your foot in the door your work has to be out there. Every once in a while small leads to big. It's a hastle sure, but in the beginning it works.

Going rate is x. Some will drop it for y. You dump it for y-20%. Always leave room for another set of fingers. Supply and demand. Undercut the market. Brutaly. If it ain't selling drop the price to where it will go.

Realize you will ruffle some feathers. Life goes on.

Tourist business is overated. They buy enough for here, your looking for people that it take every week. Someone slinging your work on the beach is nice...but it seldom works out. Hustlers hustle...on both sides of the coin.

Give the people what they want. Years ago the'd take what you have... now everybody is picky....they want clones, not beasts from seed. Dump them beasts cheap....but let everyone know you have better...

Don't fight the market. I had the hardest time letting the market tell me what they wanted. I came from a take it or leave it era...Now.... If they want goat turds... I give'em goat turds.

In Hawaii it's who you know. Always has been...always will be. You need to meet some new people.

Last resort is Oahu...they will eat anything there.

This is also true. Here is the kicker. I get told by everyone I know that I could get whatever I ask for it.. Its always better than anything they have.
THERE IS NO MARKET. No one asks to buy weed or where you can get some. Everyone has a stash, which most of the time is shitty, but they don't pay for it. That's the key, nobody pays for weed here,lol
