Benson has too many weapons against a wrestler who punches

Benson will be another long time title holder, IMO.

I see Jr
JJ
Anderson
GSP
Benson
Aldo

all holding their tile for the foreseeable future

I'm seriously excited for Melvin vs Cowboy. Holy hell it will be fireworks

Frankie will take his title back, if you take away the one up kick to the face from Henderson in the first fight, then that fight would have ended way different IMO......

The decision win for Henderson in the first fight was questionable and has since been questioned by many as all of them had Frankie ahead on the cards at the end of the first fight......and not Henderson. This questionable judging decision in the first fight giving the win to Henderson instead of Frankie is also why the rematch is being fought so soon.......it was a super close fight!!

Most all fighters would have been done after that up kick, but Frankie has about 10 lion hearts inside his chest and just fought through it all......man that kid has heart and determination.

Frankie will be dominant in this class for a while....he is practically a pro boxer, or considered on the same skill level as a pro boxer....Most all MMA fighters will fail against these type fighters, provided the fighters are well rounded.....Frankie is well rounded, PLUS the Pro Boxing skills, Henderson is well rounded but is considered an average striker at best....

Frankie wins by unanimous decision or possibly a TKO in later rounds......

Same reason Jr Dos Santos is the Heavy Weight champ and will be for a very long time.....he is well rounded and has pro level boxing skills.....

As time goes on we will start to see this very clear pattern in dominant elite fighters....

I wouldn't count on Frankie being "dominant" in this weight class. First, he's in the wrong weight class, and should be fighting @ 145. Second, he is more of a wrestler than a boxer, and being a good boxer doesn't necessarily translate to a good MMA fighter. Junior Dos Santos is the best boxer in MMA, but that doesn't mean he's going to be champion forever. Heavyweights don't often hold their titles long, due to the nature of the beast. One punch and you're done. Anyone can get caught. I love Junior and think he is a far better boxer than Frankie, and just a classier fighter over all.

Huh? Frankie is fighting in the wrong weight class?? You must watch a different UFC than I do I guess.....

Even after the devastating up kick that would have finished any other fighter, Ben STILL could not finish Frankie.....odds of Ben getting that lucky shot in twice is slim to none....and with out the ONE LUCKY UP KICK the first fight goes WAY different!!

And Frankie has been totally DOMINANT so far so who is going to change this exactly?? Look at the past record.....FRANKIE DOMINATES!! And will continue to do so....

Let me know who you think has a chance at beating Frankie or that can match his boxing skills??

And actually you are proving my point about pro boxing skills...the better striker when BOTH fighters are well rounded will most always win....

All the past champions that held the title for a while were superior in striking skills (Boxing)..minus the Gracie period of dominance...like Anderson Silva for example....why do you think they use to talk about him fighting a pro boxer all the time??

You got lots to learn about MMA fighters.....being bigger means about sqwat in the UFC.....

I guess so. The same one that Dana White watches, and he agrees with me. Aside from that Frankie is really a wrestler who has learned to strike. He's having to fight bigger guys in that weight class, whereas he would be against guys more his size @145.
So it looks like you might have something to learn about MMA.

to say that something would go differently without a big part of what happened in it is being captain obvious

if any significant event of any fight didn't happen there is a very good chance that the ending would be different

If Jr had not landed most of his shots in any fight the fight could have been different. But the fact is that the upkick landed, and the whole fight changed after that

Shield is an embarrassment to the middleweight division...

UNBELIEVABLE that he beat Henderson, and NOW Henderson is fighting Silva.....
