Erl is the phonetic slang pronunciation of "oil"...referring to bho, buts in honey oil, which I'm sure you know is a oily greasy super sticky honey like textured and often colored concentrate of pure resin gland/cannabinoids using butane as a solvent. ..."Erl" = slang for oil.

thanks

I guess if your bag is loud I know you are carrying from a distance, like a loud car stereo or something... meaning its is very strong smelling... thats what I infer at least from hearing it used

Ok Swag is the free stuff you get from conventions and trade shows.

Schwag is garbage mexi brick weed, that no one really wants to smoke. In fact not all mexi would qualify as schwag, it really is the stuff nobody wants to smoke, but sometimes it is all you can afford.

Reggies are regular grade marijuana. There is nothing special about it, it usually contains seeds and is the only grade better than mexi brick weed. In part it comes from the beginning of the sensimilla movement, sensi has no seeds, regs did. Since there is very little seeded marijuana on the market these days average quality herb is called regs.

Cap is short for Capulator, a member of the boards who produces beneficial mycorhizzae and bacteria products. so Cap's Bennies are simply talking about the products Capulator produces and sells.

Reclaim, is the resin you go digging out of your pipes to smoke. The pipe is holding onto it for you until you reclaim it and smoke it. These used to just be called resin hits.

Ok, now one of my own, 'fire'. When did we start refer to things as 'fire', like that bud i just smoked was fire. I know how it evolved I just missed when it started and why it stuck. I always thought that the slang should be 'wind'. That bud moved like the wind, or that shit was cool like the wind. I think I need to step out to go smoke some wind herb.

What the HELL is crippies, or however it's spelled? What does it mean

Cripi in Colombia and Venezuela means high quality herb. usually sinsemilla, and a lot more expensive than the regular brick. more expensive per gram than cocaine and heroin, which is worth noting.

also, in the 90s, in FL, Crypto (from green cryptonite) was also standard name for good herb, sinsemilla, non-bricked, and really expensive too.

I always assumed Cripi was a deformation of the Crypto term, and have also heard that it is a "spanization" of Creepy herb, which means strong, a bit paranoid and hallucinatory.

The only time I have heard "cap" in relation to weed, was in prison...they sold ground up weed, and it was 10 bucks for a Chapstick "Cap" full--

This is true in the Mayland prison system, probably in others as well.

From what I have come to understand is the term 'crippie' was actually a reference to the gang the Crips. They were selling weed and what they offered was usually high quality, what was once referred to as 'chronic'. Since chronic became the name of an actual strain a substitute was needed, and since guys were getting their weed from the Crips it became crippie weed. Again this is what I have been able to gather.

I do remember some herb being called 'krypto' though, like the green kryptonite that would bring Superman to his knees. But that was the 90's, I haven't really heard it since then.

Caps Bennies - Capulator's Beneficial bacteria/fungus, via that other site.

Loud - First mentions seem to have came from Bay Area rap scene, as in turned up music, loud, turned up buds - extra stinky, extra everything - LOUD!

Reclaim? :chin::dunno: Is this a variation of re-up or re-cop?

edit: aww shit. hahah

I'm still confused with the "old" slang,i've looked for a glossary but fuck'd if i can find one. eg-PPM-what the f does that mean .I can only think of Pay Per Month:cathug:

PPM is not slang for anything, in fact it is a term you need to know if you are growing. It is Parts Per Million. It is talking about the level of salts in your water; ie: 200 molecules of nutrient salts out of 1 millions total molecules.

EC - Electroconductivity
TDS - Total Dissolved Solids

These terms are all roughly interchangeable. They measure just about the same thing.
