All This Kief!

Had a few lb's of crappy indoor that has been sitting for a year or so...

Got tired of seeing it and wanted to do something about it....

Found a old screen, got drunk and rubbed it out for a few hours....

64 Grams!

Got a speck or two of leaf and a few cat hairs, oh well....

Maybe blow this with Butane?

32oz glycerine on that for a year and you will have some dank tincture, add some dried organic fruits for flavor.

With 'tane being an extraction method itself - to free the glands - what benefit do you hope to gain by blowing 'tane over already extracted heads?

If it is higher "potency" wouldn't you have to ask what added agent would cause such effect??

Kief doesn't dab very well. And yes, it will increase potency a lot!

Krunch, If you are gonna blow that though a tube put some weed in there or you might clog up the tube. Thermos method would work best for just kief. Have you seen the "spark" butane? Its 7x and its 40 a case, its been my choice of tane lately.

Looks tasty KB! Maybe clean it up a bit w/ISO or ETH for dabbing? Looks pretty tasty tho. Blowing 'tane through that seems like a real bitch!

Usually a chemical extraction will help remove any smaller, harder to notice impurities. Guessing mostly just small leaf spec from the pics, it looks pretty clean................besides those hairs,


But you're right, when you have pure tric heads, then there really isn't any need to extract anything.


I've made some very good bubble before, then turned it to ISO. Definitely reduced yield a bit, but increased quality & purity a good bit. A noticeable jump in potency from hit to hit.

get as many hairs out as u can then make some shoe hash ,,no need for any chems ..

It melts the glands only...causing it to be more concentrated and pure--

The only thing I would think is denser concentration via removal of hairs, etc - surely terepenes removed when blowing raw material contributes to the concentrated benefits of BHO. In part why I was asking. To further the purity is all dependent on how small the screen is at the bottom of the tube as well...

Denser end product contibuting to higher concentration and taking less hits - is that technically a more potent product or just a more refinded one - or is it one in the same and I'm playing scrabble....lol.

I got Pit Bulls hair in mine

press it under heat. Its way better to smoke and it holds shape. heat the corner with your lighter to break a chunk off and stuff the bong. Cigarette Cellophane some wet newspaper and an iron does the trick.
