heat? really?! i have been using happy frog for as long as i can remember, and i have never come even close to burning a plant, i use it for seedlings, clones, moms, and my flowering plants...i honestly can't imagine why ocean forest would be much different...
if it really is i would just say don't use ocean forest, fox farm happy frog is just as good, comes in a bigger bag for cheaper, and wont burn your plants...i for 1 will be using it exclusively for as long as the quality is good. i see no reason to switch, perfect consistency, perfect drainage, and perfect amounts of organic nutes...in my mind it's much better to buy 1.5 cubic foot bag of happy frog for 18 bucks over a 1 cubic foot bag of ocean forest for 20 bucks AND a smaller bag of something to cut it down till it's useable for young plants... you save money and time, plus the happy frog works just as well as ocean forest for adult plants...
