I watched that recently...

He bought land and built his family a very nice wilderness retreat, all environmentaly friendly mod-cons. I would rate their chances of survival as VERY GOOD to CERTAIN.

Completely convinced me to get off grid... I'm just short of $750,000 then it's...

Bruce "can I haz Shamanic Poisonz?" Parry...number 1 on my list of people to go on holiday with.

les.
he makes it look hard, keeps all the urban-suburban yuppies out of the woods.
and the dedication to filming himself makes it twice as hard.
and I like it when he starts to crack.
if everyone watched bear they would be jumping over crevasses and into ice tubes and falling out of trees and generally making a mess of everything.

i keep wiating for bear to fall. i hope anyone in a wilderness situations doesnt do the risky things he does. there would be alot more wounded and dead people .

I hate hearing since Les does all his own camera work, makes him more "authentic". How do we know for a fact that he is?

I vote Bear, sure he's a Jackass, a sensationalist, and generally gives bad advice.

But survialist as when he doesn't have a camera on him I would pick him 10/10 times to survive the longest/come out alive, and would place a bet on it.

You guys can't forget that he was SAS, and was its mandatory to go through on of the most rigorous survival challenges known to man when training with SAS
