Wife was recently offered a job at a nursing home which she has wanted for a long time. As part of the employment process she had to undergo a drug test. So I went off to the chemist and bought an off the shelf drug testing kit, which showed positive for THC.
Problem is she hasn't had a cone for over 6 weeks!!! She had to knock the job back 'cause if she went to the medical and tested positive she would've ruined any chance of getting a job in aged care for good.
Since then we've bought the test kits a few more times and she still tests positive - despite not smoking since!!!
All I can put it down to is the fact that she has lost a lot of weight through dieting.
She put her weight on whilst she was a chronic smoker. She now has lost over 35kg's and losing more by the day.If THC bonds to fatty deposits then as she loses weight is it possible the released THC could affect her test results???
Or is it that the testing kits sold by chemists are crap???
