Right now, and today is not that hot, i can read 81F and 83F on my thermometers.
The Borg seems to like it a lot. I dread Summer indoor grows, this is a fact!

Just finished in time for harvest, all plants hanging in the rafters but their drying to fast....like an oven up there....orange/ lemon peel in jars next to rehydrate em a little.

Good luck everyone growing in this heat....good news is it's gonna cool down next wek but for how long I don't know.

I don't usually do much over the summer but I got an air cooled hood going in the 12/12 place and it's stayin at 78 which should do.

Been thinkin about getting air con, not just for summer but to generally improve stuff but I know ****all about it

Gettin cooler by sunday they reckon

My clones are running under 400w Osram Hps.

Unheated high-top full seed trays, with jiffy's and plain tap water I can see roots after 5-7 days.

The way to go about the temps is using base heated mist tunnels with a coir based media which will grow roots in a few days from un-stressed plants.

I have taken trays and trays of cuttings recently and last week this month was an amazingly productive week..

This is the life.....

My plants grow fast and perform well this time of year better than any other time.......

We are lucky this decade in the Uk with the Indian summers were getting.

The last decade was not so good for outdoor growing but over recent years weather changes have given excellent harvests under glass during the summer months.

Indoors I grow with vertical bare bulbs and like to spend almost nothing on heat reduction and just buy more space and light.

In the past I tried air-cooled 600's and 1000's but they were not worth the plant count, workload or cost to make it pay with my experience.

I know air-cooled can produce without loads of extras like caging and extra glass but my guys have been doing things this way for a decade without any problems.

Roll on the end of September..

"And remember as the ambient temperature rises its ability to hold moisture increases, and because of this the humidity drops.

The temperature at which this atmospheric water condenses in the air and saturates is called dew point. "Another Good propagation Environment"

"Overall reducing the absolute humidity without changing other variables brings the dew point back down to its initial value.

In the same way, increasing the absolute humidity after a temperature drop brings the dew point back down to its initial level.

If the temperature rises in conditions of constant pressure, then the dew point will remain constant but the relative humidity will drop.

For this reason, a constant relative humidity (%) with different temperatures implies that when it's hotter, a higher fraction of the air is water vapour than when it's cooler.

cheers for that buddy, cutting down tommorow, drying room is 78deg,may have to whack my mobile air con unit but unit not really strong enough[pita cos of length of exhaust ducting as well ] but will bring down a few degrees, hoping my main exhaust will be adequate, although 75deg to 78deg is not the end of the world but would much prefer 68deg to 70deg,,,, to harry lime, if going with air con get the most powerful one your budget will allow,i didnt do my homework and bought one that was able to cool 3x600w lamps but when i added another 600w it couldnt handle it, bringing temps down by couple of deg only, this is related to how many lamps and power you have on the go,,fucking direct sunlight on rooms nearly all day with 3pm to dark the worst time, praying for cooler weather next week, good luck all, peace and safe growing s2

In my old space I had temps of 44c but have now moved to a better bigger location and have added a 12000 btu Air Con unit, temps will be 27c continually ;) and with my aquarium chiller water temps are 21c. So I am a lot happier now :)

Plants in me greenhouse are loving this sun and drinking about 6 litres of water a day. They are in 10 litre pots.

Been bloody hot and humid the last couple of days in the south, yesterday was ridiculous and today looks like it will be hotter.
Don't mind the sun but it's so muggy, have given up wearing tops as they are soaked in no time!!

Just pulled down 20 plants of airy larf

the same plants produced crystal covered baseballbats a few weeks ago

heat + height = airy crap

happens every year with a few plants in august, and it annoys me every time lol
